  • Here’s the story everyone has been asking for! However there is so much more! It’s been a very long few years, but I’m so happy I get to share it with all of you!

You are such an amazing son. I am FIFTY and I was so grateful that I was able to care for my Dad in his home when he was in hospice. He passed away this April and while it was difficult, I am so grateful that I was able to do it. I have also been blessed to be able to continue to take care of my Mother who has Alzheimer's. You talk about depression. I know both of my parents would have completely given up if they were forced to be in a care center. I have two sister's but they didn't want to help take care of my Dad because "it is too much work". I think they were incredibly selfish. I am glad you touched on your Mom and what she did to help take care of your Dad. Honestly I had wondered about that but would absolutely never have asked. It makes perfect sense. You are a strong young guy and you would indeed have to be very strong to be able to lift your Dad. You have such an amazing family. Obviously you turned out to be the selfless, caring young man you are in a large part due to how your parents raised you. First off I never asked because it is none of my business. It is also not my place to make assumptions...much less judge. I don't feel like I was doing either of those things when I was wondering why it always seemed to be you doing the caretaking. I am pretty sure you feel like I do in the sense that you are actually grateful that you were able to take care of your Dad. He was able to spend those last year's with his family and in his home. Your entire life you will be able to look back on that time with pride and never have any regrets! I used to work as an RN. I am so sorry that you had so many negative experiences with nurses and doctors. I am also so sorry that your Dad had "caretakers" that "weren't comfortable" doing what was required to take care of your Dad. That is awesome that you were able to get paid. It didn't make any sense that people were paid to care for him...but didn't...and you needed $ so you took a job at Target. It's crazy how obvious of a solution it was that you would be the one paid to care for him instead. While the solution was obvious, it's crazy how often someone sitting up in their office makes the opposite decision. That they will pay someone else to do a bad job...instead if paying you to do an amazing job! So glad you were able to make that happen! I have watched so many of your videos. You never cease to amaze me. Both of your parents must be just beaming with pride. You were truly your Dad's angel here on Earth. While I know that you would rather have him here with you, take comfort in the fact that now he is your guardian angel watching over you now! God bless you and your family!
    🙏❤ Stephanie

God bless you and your family for all that you’ve done with taking care of your father. The love and compassion you’ve showed him really touched my heart. I can’t imagine all that you and your mother have been through and how much you all must miss him. I know he’s smiling down watching over you. I pray god brings you and your family peace. Your parents have raised such an amazing son.🙏💕

It wasn’t the doctor that made him change. It was the progression of the tumor. He had physical changes happening.
