It's actually pretty cool. The washer is in my basement so I can't always hear the song from elsewhere in my house but now it sends a notification to my phone when the cycle is done (or if the dryer door opens or the washer goes off balance during the spin cycle). It also reminds me to run the self clean at regular intervals. I find the wifi connection pretty convenient.

Because for this video I ran only a rinse cycle and not a spin cycle to drain it.
