- On this episode of State of Soccer we have been granted private access by the @newyorkredbulls to tour the 'Cathedral of American Soccer,' Red Bull Arena!
As always if you've watched any of our other stadium tours, we'll explore everything the stadium has to offer! Built in 2010 Red Bull Arena is one of the first proper Major League Soccer stadiums. Since it's completion slightly over a decade ago many clubs across MLS have tried to replicate RBA's design & who could blame them! Red Bull Arena is a fantastic venue & on this episode of State of Soccer TV, we are thrilled to explore it!

Incredible tour from a lifetime fan! You were super knowledgeable about all the club lore and all the new renovations really elevate the experience. It truly is my second home.
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! I really enjoyed my visit at Red Bull Arena, and have been lucky enough to attend a couple of matches there. Thanks for stopping by & leaving a comment 🤝
That RED seat was originally in section 101… that was my season ticket spot until they upgraded the section to safe standing for the supporters in 2020. Easy to find! That seat was also dedicated to Mike Vallo longtime ESC Member who passed away in 2015 along with marking the 1st goal at RBA by Joel Lindpere. RBA is a wonderful stadium but it could be so much better if they developed and used the lower concourse more - perhaps a supporters bar under the South Ward.
FUN FACT: the fastest goal in MLS was scored at RBA (7 seconds) by Mike Grella against the Philadelphia Union
Awesome history regarding the red seat at RBA 🤝 thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment!
2:27 - The red seats immediately behind the team benches are in Managers Row, not where players families sit. Families are spotted all over the stadium, with the wives and children usually in the club sections (108, 109 and 111) and in the boxes above the main club. A season ticket in Manager's Row costs about $10K.
20 SECONDS IN and there's already a mistake. They were the NY/NJ Metrostars and don't you forget it! (Cool video BTW)
Lol
Respect from Philly! Great venue for a match 👍
17:18 awesome tour!! Season ticket holder. I wish I have been in box seats yet but its cool where I sit in the stadium😊
Awesome, thanks for stopping by!
I pretty much go to every game there. Very great atmosphere in the south ward part of the stadium! Great video too btw!
I’ve been to multiple matches there and I agree, the supporter groups are loud
I love this stadium
I am watching in 2024 and I went to see them p.ay with my dad the New York Redbulls vs FC Dallas Redbulls won 2 1
Best branding in MLS. Love the bull logo.
13:18 - Santos played the Red Bulls on the inaugural game of the arena, but Neimar did not play. He was in attendance, came out onto the field and was introduced to the crowd.
Great tour! Thanks for posting 🤝
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it 🤝
01:55 this beat dope👍🏾
Epic tour!! Was always curious about the red seat. Super interesting!
Thanks Michael!
Great Video, greetings from Vienna
Thank you so much for the kind feedback!
As an NYCFC fan, i cannot wait for my first MLS match at the red bull area for the derby. Stadium looks dope
may the best team win
Should be a good game

Red Bull arena AKA The cathedral !!!
That’s right!
Ask them to show you their MLS cup LMFAO!!!😂😂😂
14:09 - That's not a photo of Youri Djorkaeff... this is him en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youri_Djorkaeff
San jose earthquakes next, please
Would love to make my way to the West Coast! Stay tuned, I’ll get there eventually 👍
why have the media sit so close? they are leaving alot of money on the table, those could easily be converted to an on field suite
It’s a beautiful stadium for sure. No doubt. But it’s too bad the Redbulls fan base don’t deserve it. Yeah probably their ownerships fault, but at the same time it’s embarrassing seeing it half empty all the time
NEW JERSEY METROSTARS
Bradley wright Philips is my friends dad
That’s really cool! He seems like a good dude
@@StateOfSoccer i know
Did you say RBA is one of the first SSS......
Yes I did
There's more than one red seat in the stadium. The entire supporters section has red seats.
In that section amongst all of the blue seats, there is one red seat
The club is in NJ but represent NY????
Yeah they are physically located in Harrison, NJ
The fanbase would be larger if they stoped trying to attract the NY crowd who have a team now.
It’s like 10 to 12 mins outside of NYC
Gotham Fc NY/NJ the women club.
children pay tickets
NY is Blue! No MLS Cups in NEW JERSEY!
I knew there would be one lol
and yet you still can't win against us.
Lmao closeted Red Bulls fan going on RBA content to comment about city . What a fake fan 😂
Wait a minute. I saw along the wall of the inside of Red Bull Arena it mentions The Empire State. The stadium 🏟️ is not in New York City or New York State. It is physically located in the Town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey. I will never go watch MSL soccer ⚽ while the team is referred to as the New York Red Bulls 🐂. It should be referred to as the New Jersey Red Bulls 🐂. Period.
They have a slogan that is "From the Empire State to the Garden State," which ties nicely with the history of the MetroStars and representing the metropolitan area. The "New York" in the name refers to the metropolitan area of New York, not the state nor New York City which NYCFC represents. The Red Bulls represent the whole metro as it's always been, which includes both states. Hope that helps!
You literally copy and paste the same comment on every RBNY video. Don't you have a life.
It's the NY Metropolitan area. Always has been.
Great stadium, terrible team.
Another IKEA copy stadium. I’m sick of these soulless stadiums.
very generic and characterless stadium
