Thanks for doing this vids on the A&A games, it is much appreciated. I really like the A&A games, no matter the version. The campaign games I believe are underrated by fans of A&A simply because they are different. I happen to think they are some of the best versions out there. Guadalcanal is no exception.

You're welcome! I agree they're really good systems. I wish Avalon Hill/Hasbro would've done other campaigns. A North Africa campaign would've been great with the Bulge system.

Great videos keep it up. Your explainations are very very well done. Do you own the game "A world at War" from GMT games (2013)? I'm not a rookie, but I could never got through the rules or found someone that could explain it properly. If you have it, you would be first having a video on the internet with rules! Nevertheless, keep up making new videos, I got most of the games you speak about! :)
Great video, this really helped me learn to play. I have a quick question, does it count as one movement for a fighter or bomber to move from the Island part of New Caledonia or Rabul to the water part of the reinforcement card?
I believe so. The rulebook states "The sea zone on your base card is one move away from the route-to-base sea zone(s) indicated on the board."
Hi. On the Gameboard right next to the Island Guadalcanal are 3 Japanese Units and 2 Supplies Token printed. Whats up with these Units? Thanks
Guadalcanal is in conflict at the beginning of the game so those units start on the island.
The most significant battle was Stelling, right how come axis and allies don’t have a board game for that
Where did you get these images of the game components?
If I recall correctly, I photographed the minis on a white surface and removed the background. The game board art is on the internet so I didn't need to scan this one.

i checked the price of the game and i found out that it was expensive ($270) , is it like a collectors item?
Yes. They didn't print very many and very few people want to sell their copy. Those that do want a lot of money. I wish they'd reprint it, but I doubt they will.
