- It turns out Wales is really bad for signal! We've had this video ready for days but been unable to find somewhere to upload it!
I hope you're all surviving this heat, we are absolutely baking in our van 😂
But when it's hot like this there is only one thing to do, SWIM! And Wales is the place to be. A gorgeous coastline, many lakes and rivers filled with turquoise pools.
In this episode we visit the infamous Watkin's Path among many other beautiful locations. We've fallen in love with Wales so quickly.

Only real downside to the Watkin path pools is how busy they can get these days, so best avoided bank holidays and during summer weekends and school holidays, one place which can rival it but is virtually unknown is the Afon Goch above Aber Falls, you can follow the river up into the mountains for about 1.5 miles and it's just an endless succession of little waterfalls and pools, getting up to it isn't as easy though as the path is quite steep so I know some casual hikers find it bit scary, but it's fun for people who prefer a walk which is slightly more challenging, upside is it's a rarely used path so you normally have it all to yourself, a real hidden gem.

Another lovely video. There are so many great things about your videos (wonderful close-up images, drone shots, Lisa disappearing into the distance, really capturing the mood of the places you visit etc etc) however the best part is seeing how much you enjoy yourselves - your smiles are really infectious. The ruins are so beautiful. We love things like that and wondering what their history is. I new she was going to get in. That is so tempting when its not freezing especially with how beautiful it is! Love your adventures!

This vlog was just so, so lovely. Me and my old man have been going to this area of Wales since we were teenagers together - watching your footage and reminiscing was fantastic. Yet, in alllll those years, we've never 'done' the Watkins Path and falls 🙄.....seen it on a few CZcams vlogs this year though. (Can I just say, your filming and accompanying music was superb!!! Best filming I've seen of the path and falls to date 👍🤗). Enjoy your time in Wales xx

Haha Lisa hasn't the best balance but after a few attempts she did get the hang of it 😁 we didn't pick any turkey tail that day, but we do harvest it each year. Such a wonderfully medicinal mushroom ♥ thank you for the pronunciation, we were useless at names while in Wales 😬 🤗

We try to include all the locations in our videos but we do try to keep a level of secrecy, our intention is to show our followers and friends how beautiful the world is, but we encourage people to explore as that's one of the best things about travel, the mystery and stumbling across something unexpected, it's how we travel.
We strive to find the hidden gems, and when those locations are shared it often means they're no longer hidden, take the Secret Infinity pool in Wales for example, there are 100s of CZcams videos that reveal it's location so it's no longer a secret and is now super busy at all times of the year. We therefore pick and choose the locations we share. I hope you understand.
