Great video! Thank you for reviewing this new product! Looks interesting. Also, your painting of the leaves with this product is beautiful! I love the way you show the textures of the leaves and veins, and the shading, which brings out a great 3D effect! Love the colors, too! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful results, wow!! I love my Mungyo 48 set but I do notice the colors in those are not as bright as I'd like them to be. They're a tad dull and milky/washed out in comparison to even my pentel student grade set! But since their quality is outstanding I still love to use them. I ordered this Arrtx set now to complement the Mungyo colors, so there is more contrast and variation between the brights and darks, and also because they're a great price for a large set. I really hope you can recommend these. What do you think are the major pros and cons to consider for these? Thanks!!
Thank you so much for your kind words!! 😍🙏🏻 Yes, I think it’s a great idea to buy something different from what you already have. They will compliment each other nicely. A pro is that it is much easier to apply it more thickly compare to Mungyo, so I can add bright colors vividly and create thicker textures. A con is that it might be challenging to use at first because of its thick consistency and friction when you apply it.
Do you think it's similar to Paul Rubens oil pastels? Like similar in the feel or the colour palette maybe? I already have some Paul Rubens, so I'm thinking if I should get Arrtx too. Your artwork is great!
Actually that’s a good question. I only have a pastel color set from Paul Rubens. So, it’s hard for me to compare the colors, but the texture of Arrtx is similar to Paul Rubens. However, Arrtx is slightly thinner than Paul Rubens, so it might feel different handling them. Thank you so much for liking my drawing! 💕😍🙏🏻
@@FunGreem and I only have the Macaron set and the Morandi set. I feel like I'm lacking some of that vibrant colours (your artwork in this vid has such punchy colours!). Paul Rubens also have a 72 set that came out about the same time as Arrtx. Because of all the white-labeling thing going on with art supplies from China, I just have some suspicions you know... 🤔 I hope someone will do a comparison review between both brands soon. Thanks for replying! 😁

Is it true that the greens on this brand are gummy and don't blend well?
Yes, I felt some friction and hard to apply evenly at first but great for impasto technique. Thank you 🙏🏻
