Yup! Me too! I have so many friends that grew up like Elliot. Very few of them ended up living their truth.😢 It’s really sad. Wish I could’ve been a better friend. I was quite unknowingly homophobic myself. By the time I understood them, I didn’t find them again till Facebook. And only about 2 of them are who they already knew to be way back when.
As a teenager I was bullied because I am gay (which at the time I tried my best to hide and didn't want "it"); is so sad that SO MANY people still view bullying as "character building"...With the new "controversy" of transgender children's wellbeing being twisted as "imposing" an ideology let's us know that our "plight" IS NOT OVER and that as "cute" and "warming" these episodes are there are still children who DO NOT feel safe at school; ADD to that the fact that at any given time there could be a shooting and the "pressure" must be overwhelming, GOD BLESS OUR CHILDREN...
I loved seeing *Elliott* (Michael Angarano) in *Oppenheimer* . I could tell he was going to move on to bigger & better things after playing *Elliott* 😎
