I think One hot Minute B-sides couldn't be better, I'm sure that when RHCP doesn't exist anymore, million compilations will be released with them among others

I remember getting this album from my local store like it was yesterday in 1995....I grew up in the 80s, but the 90s were the decade that mattered to me (after bands like GnR, RHCP and Janes Addiction had sown the seeds)...you weren't even born dude?! I was 24 and still rocking to this album :D

This song is absolutely brilliant... It's better than most of the songs on One Hot Minute. How in the hell did this beautiful song end up as a b-side? Maybe because it was too soulful in comparison to most of One Hot Minute... I don't know... It's a real shame that the band has never played this song live. If it were up to me, it would be played on a regular basis... This song should've been on One Hot Minute. It would've given the album a little bit more substance, at least in my opinion. I wonder what Bob Forrest thinks of this song...

The best for me are this and My Friends :) Dave Navarro is for me A BEAST in guitar, I love it.
It's odd to me that this song could be categorized as trademark RHCP as well as trademark Navarro, yet the two worlds are completely different. Guess that's why I've always loved this song.

The damn producers always cut great songs instead of simply extending album. This one, overfunk(and others) on californication, runaway on by the way, list goes on.
That's because every RHCP song is awesome, some B-sides are even better than the actual songs in the albums in my opinion
if they divided each album in two or even three releasing them one year aftet each other. there would be no b-side and we wouldnt have to wait like 4 years to listen a new album. i think the chil peppers has so many great songs that is a shame they release like a half of those songs :(

Holy shit, just discovered and heard this today. Awesome stuff. One Hot Minute is my favorite RHCP album and this song is way better than similar-sounding songs on the album, way better than "Walkabout" or "Falling into Grace". This should have been included in the album proper.
I like Walkabout and Falling but can't stand Warped. I would've loved to see Bob or Stretch instead

Loved Dave’s time in the band. IMHO though, much of his melodic style would be too much for AK’s limited vocals to keep up with creatively. AK has a certain, narrow groove that he does perfectly but that then limits the ideas you can explore musically that he could sing over.
One of my all-time favorites! Such a soulful song. They should do more songs in style of One Hot Minute, just to remind the fans of the good and old Red Hot Chili Peppers. No more mellow songs and soft lyrics! I guess that I'm not the only one who miss the sex on their songs. Tbh, I think Red Hot died after Californication, despite I love the upbeat songs of By The Way, Stadium Arcadium and I'm With
