- We visited the kings palace with 500women in Sri Lanka. Its Sigiriya located in Dambulla! Do you think Sri Lanka worth to visit? Well for me Sri Lanka is an amazing holiday destination! I would love to visit sri lanka again! If you are looking for an adventures holiday you must visit sri lanka! The entrance fee was 30 dollars for Sigiriya The lion rock but for me it was too expensive!

🙂Sigiriya is so valuable because of its technology ... just think, how thousands of years ago they took water from the bottom of the rock to the top of the rock..it is still a very complex process. .Because of these things, it has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO..not only that ...there are more..All the best 👌...😊

It's bit expensive but not to forget it was about to named as a wonder... Something like a 8 th Wonder..💞
Great that you took a local guide with you. It makes a huge difference - as the entrance fee is quite a lot, you may as well pay a little more for an accredited guide. It's a 1500+ year old place with lots to see and do, so don't miss out. Try one of the Tuk-Tuk tours around the site as well.

I am a Sri Lankan expat and not happy about the entry fee. If you look at the entry fee for Taj Mahal for a foreigner it is close to 15 US $. The so called officials or whoever who determine the prices( I guess from central cultural fund) seem to be clueless and shame on them. These things will deter foreigners visiting Sigiriya. The entry fee should be a reasonable one to attract more foreigners.
