The game is depicting a fictional area in Medieval Franconia
The Duchy of Franconia was one of the five stem duchies of East Francia and the medieval Kingdom of Germany emerging in the early 10th century. The word Franconia, first used in a Latin charter of 1053, was applied like the words Francia, France, and Franken, to a portion of the land occupied by the Franks.
In early Middle Ages it was occupied by Franconia tribes and became a part of Frankish empire. Franconia was a country of bondsmen who were closely dependent on a lord (often an important landowner), in whose service they stood, in most cases working on his estates.

I holidayed with my parents on the Isle of Wight long ago and surprised them in corpus delecti. It was the first time I realised that I was not their centre of attention which I clearly should have been. It is why I doubtless have 15mm English Civil War armies which has always been a source of shame. I myself have an Irish wife who I have diddled on far too many occasions. I lured her with 28mm Front Rank AWI figures. I am not proud of it. Always a delight old wargaming chum. We are clearly silly men. God save the world if we were for one moment serious. You do well and I appreciate it. I am Scottish by heritage but I rarely visit the country. The men wear kilts and I could imagine some small difficulty arising.

😂😂😂😂😂😂 love Scotland! Scottish are my favourite HYW armies..these intimidating schiltron formations are my favourite..although to be honest they got annihilated but the English longbow men in the battles of Halidon Hill and Neville’s cross..Edward III was a military genius..
Now I know why "Manor Lords" reminds me so much of "Kingdom Come Deliverance". It's supposed to.
Yes very similar both take place in locations quite identical to each other Franconia and Bohemia.

I have always been fortunate that my female friends have been tolerant of my wargaming hobby. I have never had to worry about my female friends. It has been my lovers who have been frankly dangerous. Who could possibly imagine that placing a six foot by four piece of plywood on a dining room table that would allow you to relight Crecy would occasion so much domestic discord. It is fortunate that we adore women lest we forget to love them.
I don’t mix women and wargaming ..dangerous combination..😂😂
I just made a woman laugh. We are wargamers but if you can't make a girl laugh what was the point of it all. I am fond of them as a gentleman should be. I frequent toy soldiers overmuch and my wife, to give her credit, tolerates me. She is rather a wonderful woman to be honest. To be fair I have always been something of a medievalist which is pretty classy and like to attract the ladies.

I have nearly just fallen out of the kitchen window. It was quite frightening. My wife is laughing at me. I love her very much but given her lack of seriousness I think I could have done better. She is a historian but not a medievalist though pretty. I've never trusted her She wants to go to Dorset. . Best wishes compadre.

I almost fell out of the ,kitchen window yesterday. My wife laughed. Personally I think she is need of improvement. A man returns to the matrimonial bed after his life has flashed before his eyes. One expects some bloody respect. She laughed for twenty minutes. I am not impressed with her. For God's sake I have medieval armies. I am seriously rethinking that femine beauty may be overrated.
