@Si Dunue No shit, but what James Smith is saying because you need it spelled out for you is that the writing is so good and natural that you are actually invested in the "main" storyline. Bad writing wouldn't put much thought into the ancillary dialogue (Keegan) and try to rush through it to get to the punch line (Jordan's part).

Only in that Netflix show "Friends from College " was he given a role with more substance and he killed it! I think perhaps he is one of those male actors who needs to become a little older and "age" into more of a leading man. Then he will get more chances at different types of roles

While somewhat darker-skinned Russian citizens exist, they tend to have different facial features while this character looked more Indian. It was a bit easier if I imagined this was a situation where the villain was the kid of a multi-racial couple so got a name and appearance disconnect.
