    Thank you Atlas ! Finally a real K.I.S.S signal system.

    Since I don't do DCC, I find that I cannot get this system to work with straight DC, because no one makes a block detector that will work with DC, and work with common cathode.
    No one else makes a decent looking signal in N scale. (Other than those custom finishing kits from Alabama)

    Will there be other types/styles of signals offered in the coming months?

    B&O CPL signals please. I hope N-Scale will get some needed attention

    Will there be double target signals for O scale?

    What about how everything is connected?? I would like to see just how “easy” it is.

      here's a few ideas for building a railroad layout yourself
      Find a proven set of plans online
      Find a mate who wants to build one too so you have someone to encourage you
      (I read these and why they work from Jareks Hobby Club website )

    Will you guys ever make modern signals for n? It’s sad that there’s only type G’s for n.

  • @1babysag
    @1babysag Před 4 lety +3

    When are you going to make non type G signals for N Scale. The purchase of BLMA was supposed to produce a great N signal. It never happened with BMLA and I assume it is not going to happen with Atlas. I have been disappointed for at least 15 years.

  • @dundasjunctionmodelr.r-jam8267

    So the sensors are built in

    Are these new signals compatible with the older HO Atlas Signals and boards that I have already purchased from a few years ago?

    • @kennethstout9237
      @kennethstout9237 Před 3 lety +1

      The manual says they are. The signal control board has a jumper that can be set for either common cathode or common anode.

    I model west coast. Will Atlas ever do a search light signal based on Southern Pacific signals?

    • @geomodelrailroader
      @geomodelrailroader Před 4 lety +1

      already did and they just showed it. Crag said they might bring the Searchlight 2s from the BLMA days back. Right now they only make them in N and HO.

    • @1babysag

      Needs2quit1 at gmail I have not seen search lights in N and there are no signal bridges in N only those ugly G type lights that are not used in the West.

  • @kanishirosouthwester

    So if I understand this correctly if I have six signals to control then I need six of these universal control boards, one for each of them

  • @richardkwiatkowski8747
    @richardkwiatkowski8747 Před 3 lety +2

    I read somewhere on the instructions from my understanding you need a bd20 block detector but I can be wrong

    • @kennethstout9237
      @kennethstout9237 Před 3 lety +1

      Yes, or a similar detector, for automatic operations. Or a switch can be wired in for manual control of the signal indication.

    • @michaelmorgan7893
      @michaelmorgan7893 Před rokem

      Yes, and if you're standard DC like I am, you're out of luck finding a detector that will work.

  • @MrTech2three
