I was in a somewhat older dorm but not really one of the older ones but mine didn't have AC and my freshman year are heat was broken in the room but everybody else was complaining that their rooms were too hot so I convinced my roommate to not tell the front desk and let me sneak in a heater. I lived in that same dorm for my freshman and sophomore years and the fire alarm in the building is notoriously broken, so it was very common to have to get up at 3 in the morning and stand outside for 15 minutes. We were also warned at the beginning of the year that certain air fresheners were enough to set off the fire alarm. It created a kind of "Boy Who Cried Wolf" situation once when the alarm actually went off because a pipe had burst in the building and hot steaming water was flooding one of the floors and a ton of people got in trouble because they thought it was a regular fire alarm and didn't want to bother getting up, especially because it was the middle of a very freezing cold winter. I'd be curious to know if anybody could guess what school I went to and what dorm I lived in. I wasn't even sure if it was Notorious across campus or just kind of amongst kids in the Departments that tended to live there.

Probably worse too since all the teachers are getting paid to research and not teach.
trust me bro
@@AJ-nv4in a lot of alumns that have attended multiple schools have said the same about Harvard. It isn't about the education it's about the name
School is never about the education. Lmao you won’t be standing shoulder to shoulder with the next Mark Zuckerberg at Devry University 😂
@@shabaclank3711 lmfao idk how ppl havent realized that uni and all that shit is for status and connections and NOT for “studying”
That college has literally almost as 2 billion in school account build new dorms please
It's probably a historical thing but the really should update them
Lol! 2?!?! More like 37...
@@walter2201 it most likely is… kinda hard to put central air in a building from the 1800/ early 1900s
The sarcasm lmao
He was trying to convince himself that it’s alright haha
Bro was real sarcastic😶
but such a school✋🤚
This makes me upset and happy at the same time because I cried my ass off when I didn't get into and ivy league school like straight depression. But it worked out Went to UCF go Knights. Loved my dorm room.
Same here lol😂 funny Af. I applied too a bunch of big private schools and decided to go to UCF bc UF deferred me to the spring semester and I didn’t want to wait… about to graduate UCF! Lived off campus all four years and it was awesome 😂 saved A TON OF money. Gonna graduate with half the debt one semester at Harvard costs.
The sarcasm😢😂
He said but no it’s great wonderful 😂😂😂
And Harvard has billions in their endowment.
They’ve basically become a hedge fund that offers education on the side.
Yes
The dean just walked around the corner at the end 😂😂
Aw man that’s gotta be soul crushing
The second was so grateful even when describing bad living situation
THESE COMMENTS ARE *SENDING* ME
it's very beautiful 😭😂
‘It’s so great, beautiful, wonderful’
Love being a student. It's such a worthwhile experience...
That is surely the black section 😂
Obviously
Yeah that seems suspicious
😢 that’s terrible but I’m not surprised
That’s low key horrible though. To segregate the black people from the white people. Aren’t we the same.
@@nourishevolvethrive4164 you do realize it was a joke
I need to kick it with them they seem chill af
😂😂😂that sarcasm is on lagit point😂😂😂😂😅😅
Bro said “respectfully”
It’s the number one school but they don’t even give the kids a nice place to sleep
This is how every generation lived at college prior to the last two generations.
Tried not to get thrown out in that last bit 😂
I felt the pain in his sarcasm 😂😭
Our Black brothers are going to college Great. All the Best
Lol they've been going to college for decades.
I could watch an entire podcast about the truth of ivy league schools
that sarcasm is off the charts lmaooooooo
this is the only time there able to vent abt the harvard dorm rooms
Harvard was my dream college bt after hearing about the dorms 🥴..I am gone
that's how dorms are in most colleges. if you want a nice place to live commute, or rent an apartment.
I agree with nerdloser9987, I’m a highschool senior looking into a bunch of colleges, and the dorm experience pretty much everywhere is gonna be less than ideal, you learn to deal with it and make friends with whom you can complain about your shitty living conditions and get through it.
These brothers make me proud with how articulately they speak
I don't know if I should be offended or not but there are actually a lot of black people that speak as "articulate" lol. Maybe not where you live but we don't all sound like country bumpkins or bamas lol.
they speak normal? like how most people speak
Bruh what shut up please
@@thedarkwonder9954 Wtf is to be offended by when its clearly a compliment?
Forgot the name but we even made a ragged fake accent "because we don't wanna sound well established"
@@popisolation I'm offended that not speaking clearly and annunciation isn't the norm for black people apparently.
That boy so sarcastic
Bro was trying not to lose his scholarship at the end
They’re complaining without being entitled. It’s crazy you pay the school a lot of money, but they have you on horrible housing and don’t let you move out
Nice to see the affirmative action kids
You should see with white women as well. They benefit the most from AA
You will never ever get into Ivy League college 😊
Skill Issue of death ☠️ 👎 bro can’t get into Harvard 😭
I'm glad they suffer just like us at State School suffered.
