Seems there is a trend of SCP channels closing down. I'd like to thank you all for sticking with me, it's meant the world and you truly are amazing fans. I hear your complaints about thumbnails repeating and things like that and I want to explain that a bit. The general SCP interest has kinda shrunk in the past year or so. I really LOVE making these videos, since I'm a huge SCP fan and I love hearing what you think about each video. I'm trying to keep making thumbnails or themes that seem to be performing better, and that is why you might see a similar thumbnail multiple times. You know what they say, don't change what's working. I want to keep making these videos forever, and with that, I can't be stagnant and ignore what the audience wants. I am here, listening and I am here with you, for you. Thank you again for watching. It means the world to me.
Don't sweat it, Dr. Bob! In my book, you'll always be the number one SCPer. And yeah, the repeating thumbnails are obvious, but I like to think it's endearing at this point.
The only scp channel I used to watch was therubber, but since I saw the "tides of war" scp video( and yes, I've been a fan since the beginning) you made me appreciate scp more than ever. Thank you for this.
For those wondering abt the different flavours! Cherry (SCP 839-1) - Colored bright red, it clones the host’s heart, and the side-effects are it increases blood sugar and may lead to Type 2 diabetes. Blue Raspberry (SCP-839-2) - Colored blue, it clones one of the host’s two kidneys. Its known side effects are it colorizes the host’s urine to a shade of blue. Green Apple (SCP-839-3) - Colored green, it replicates one of the host’s eyes. Its side effects are hallucinations with a green shade. Watermelon (SCP-839-4) - Colored pink, it creates a copy of the host’s brain. Further information about its side effects has been expunged or redacted. Lemon (SCP-839-5) - Colored yellow, it creates a copy of the host’s stomach. Side effects are diarrhea and are said to reduce the fiber content of digested food. Grape (SCP-839-6) - Colored purple, it clones the host’s lungs. Known side effects are giving a peculiar “fruity” breath to the host. Orange (SCP-839-7) - Colored orange, it clones the host’s liver. Side effects are increasing acidity in the host’s blood, and is not recommended to be ingested.

I think this SCP can be used for emergency organ transplant for patients that don't have an organ available at the time, but then the public would know so I guess it only reserve for SCP foundation.
I'm not too sure about this one because, as it seems there must be some type of organ for the worms eat to then turn into, meaning more than likely the doctors have to leave the destroyed or failing organ in the body then give the patient a corresponding worm, we don't know for sure how long it takes for the worm to turn into Organ and as we saw in the video this process hurts the patient until the end so I don't think this will be a good way for organ transplants
@@mariokidplays2614 It doesn't seem to take that long based on the story saying that the worm got bigger over the course of a single school day and how the heart was barely recognizable after an hour. Dealing with some pain is probably better then dying if you can't get an organ transplant.
@@mariokidplays2614 If it works then having the patient eat it, then putting them under anesthesia or into a temporary coma for 24 hours could deal with both the pain and normal people having knowledge of SCPs.
@@Scottwiggins316 That is correct. While a lot of SCP channels are closing, I try to keep evolving what seems to be working so that I can continue making this videos.

@greg77389 sadly that is not the case the scp get rid of the organ becoming a brand new healthy one. Again the only issues are what type you eat, and side effects. Do not eat the one that will form acid in your body.
The cloned organs are literally described as ineffective and dangerous...Like the replicated heart gives you diabetes and the replicated liver dangerously increases your acidity. It also can't replicate organs unless it has an existing one to consume, so your scenario wouldn't work.
I like how the school children look like Harry Potter characters. Which makes this odd for me cause I've been rewarching some of the movies after final completing the Fantastic Beasts series. Perfect timing as always. As soon as Dr. Bob mentioned "English Pounds" that was the real kicker. Not not-Draco's false confidence or not-Harry's Harry-like glasses. I always enjoy the references Dr. Bob puts in. Like when he put in Alucard as Vampire Boyfriend.
What will always make Dr. Bob's channel worth watching is that it doesn't require someone to be into SCPs. The content has standalone stories that help the audience be invested in the anomaly on its own which I think is really amazing! I hope that will keep the channel growing and prosperous!
This reminds me of the last parasite you talked about that changes body structure depending on where they bury in the body. And then they start becoming the brain when there is enough instances
Changing up the formats, in spite of so many complaints, is the best thing ever. The videos come out so often that people aren't left hanging for what they really want for very long.
Since I'm already diabetic (type 1) and I ate one that replaced my pancreas, would that actually work better for me since I could maybe get some insulin production again? Or would it be similar to the organ it replaced? Interesting to think about.
You have been my favorite scp channel so far and I really appreciate the work you've been doing!!! The only note I do have is that I'd probably like to see the containment classifications of the entities in your videos more often. Other than that everything's great!!

To anyone wondering why some thumbnails are similar, the SCP trend is dead. So whoever is managing the Dr Bob channel will have to experiment with different thumbnails to see which get more clicks, because clicks = ad revenue = money = possibility to continue doing this.
