I got that exact bat for christmas. Within a week it became so dented that it was actually flat. Although when it got the first dent it didn't work as good after that. It was fifteen euro. For 30 euro I got a two handed aluminum slazenger bat with rubber on the inside. It's heavier, it's never dented and it hits the same distance or further if you get the right technique. It does get heavily scratched though. Only problem with using the heavy one with one hand is that my shoulder tends to tighten up after about an hour, and after three or four hours staight my arm just slips out of the socket or dislocates. My one compliment for the ligher terrible bat is that I once hit the ball across an entire field because it was just so light, but that also completely destroyed my arm in a way that the two handed one has yet to. I doubt I can replicate this with the heavier bat due to it's weight, until the day that it's light enough that such a distance becomes the easy amount. A feat that is only likely to be a burden in a sport that requires flexibility and not a hulking body.

I play softball I don’t know about the difference between softball and baseball bat types but in softball we have 2 composite and ding bats but in softball the difference between the sound with the bats would be the bat bat would be a ding bat as we call it in softball the other would be composite so that maybe the difference in sound (not the way it hits) but it may be different in baseball idk
I can assure you the people leaving good reviews on it being a "good self defense weapon" haven't used it at all, keep it around the house until the time (which is probably never coming by the way) is right.
