- This anti-inflammatory breakfast has been my go-to for a little while. If you're looking for anti-inflammatory recipe ideas for the morning, this breakfast will hit the spot without added sugars, white flour, or other ingredients that aren't good for you.

You'll need:
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup of spinach.
2 organic eggs
1 tsp organic butter
A few basil leaves
1 tbsp goat cheese, or regular cream cheese.
1 whole wheat toast, organic sprouted (I spend a little more on high-quality bread because I eat it daily and want to ensure it has good quality ingredients that won't affect my health. Start by eliminating white bread full of unnecessary ingredients)
What else can you add?
Feel free to add a few slices of avocado, drizzle olive oil, or a slice of tomato. I like to keep it simple on most days.
Benefits of garlic:
Garlic is incredibly nutritious and is good for your health, heart, and brain. Garlic contains powerful anti-inflammatory compounds to help with chronic inflammation, and I love using fresh garlic as much as I can.
I add some butter to the pan. Let it melt and then crack 2 eggs. Let them cook for about 2 minutes before flipping. I like to add a bit of powdered garlic, black pepper, and salt. I like my eggs done well, so I'll cook them through.
I set aside the eggs and add the spinach and garlic to the pan
I use about a cup; you can use as much as you'd like. It usually shrinks in size as it cooks. cooking your spinach reduces the amount of oxalates, and you'll also absorb higher levels of vitamins, protein, zinc, and fiber.
Add goat cheese to the toast, a layer of spinach, the eggs on top, and a few basil leaves.
And by the way, I use organic sprouted whole wheat toast for this recipe. I usually keep carbs low and this healthy toast hits the spot without a ton of carbs.

Anti-inflammatory? Not for me. That bread makes it inflammatory for me. Every body and nervous system is unique. What works for one person may not work for the next person.
Exactly! This works for me.
You might get better results from Ezekial Bread. It doesn't spike my blood sugar.
That looks delicious I love spinach and eggs thanks for the idea and garlic😊
🥰 this also goes well with bagels if you can find some healthy ones :) I love this breakfast
We share the same breakfast Sofia :) Although since I fast almost daily, mine is more like late AM brunch. I enjoyed the video, but would like to make a few points .... 1) Non-stick/Teflon pans and utensils are unsafe to use - especially at higher heat. I would suggest using stainless steel (or similar), cast iron or others that do not give off toxic fumes and leach chemicals in the body. 2) Lower heat and not cooking yolks until 'hard' is much healthier, as nutrients are much higher 3) Suggesting organic ingredients such as pasture-raised eggs, grass-fed butter or ghee and Ezekiel bread for toast (healthiest organic sprouted WG bread around).
As a fellow NASM-PT with nutritional certs, I just wanted to share some of my knowledge with you :) I enjoy all your instructional videos and information for reducing pain, very helpful - thank you and keep up the great work!!
I also have this late around 11 am :) I practice IF 4 times a week so it's rare for me to eat early.
And thank you for your tips. We do have a cast iron skillet that I use alot! This Pan is non toxic and I wanted to use something easy for the sake of the video. I also reduced the heat to continue cooking the eggs and spinach (I'll add a note in the description). And as always I always buy everything organic whenever possible. Those eggs are organic from the farmers market...bread, butter and spinach are organic as well! I get my bread from the farmers market to help local businesses and I love the one I use.
@@CoachSofia Thanks Sofia; I'm sorry I didn't click on the 'Read More' at the bottom, as I can see you had more information there. I see we are definitely on the same page with everything :) 🌸
Your ideas are much better

Looks really good. I like to cook some cilantro into my eggs sometimes if I scramble them. Love spinach too.
Yummy and easy! Never thought to add veggies with the eggs for breakfast... I will def try to make it sometime ☺️
You can add asparagus, peppers, mushrooms, tomato and avocado! They all go well with eggs :)
Your recipe looks so delicious and the way you presented. It was very very nice. Thank you so so much.
You're welcome Peggy! I'm glad you enjoyed it
Wow thanks my doctor recommended to eat anti inflammatory foods.
Yummy. I like to cook my eggs in ghee to add healthy fat to my morning breakfast.
Delicious! I usually go with grass-fed butter, ghee or olive oil :)
This looks awesome, Sofia! I'm all about the anti-inflammatory food plan - not only a no brainer for those with inflamed bodies and joints but also helps us ladies trying to balance out hormones. Do you use gluten free bread?

I can’t eat garlic at morning, very heavy for my stomach!
It's not required! I don't use it each time.
