I am with you. I have no idea who Kurt is... haha. Keitech! I haven't seen you use that for long time. I guess that's what you have to use when you're running low on tubes. Its good to see it was a nice calm morning for ya! Last time I went it was super windy. Good to see Bruce again! I hope he puts on a gopro again soon! senditoutdoors catches pelicans too....haha That would have been the catch of the year! haha
lol yessir I actually love fishing swimbaits. You are correct though-I was definitely running a bit low on tubes!!! Bruce was happy to be back on the water-he had his GoPro on but captured about 40 seconds of footage over 8hrs. I’ll get him coached up on it!!!😂
Ive never fished with with tubes or rubber jiggs , can you give me any pointers on how to reel it in , what size of ball hooks are best , thinking about giving it a try this weekend, if you could give a lil advice it be greatly appreciate thanks 👍
Yessir so how you bring it in depends on the area you’re fishing and where the fish are feeding. We were finding fish near the bottom last week. I’d recommend 3/16 or 1/4 oz jig heads. Let the lure get to the bottom, give a few reels to come just off the bottom, and reel in slowly. Pauses and twitches are good. You’ll lose some gear, but it’s not super hard to get the hang of!!
I only use ugly sticks. I knew you were a good man!. Thanks again for all your help brother
Good man!! I appreciate you!!💪🏼
Using bass lures for trout is very interesting. Chartreuse is the last color I would use but you make it work. Job well done!
Thank you!!! I wasn’t convinced on chartreuse until this year-I am thinking that if the water is super stained it is the way to go!!💪🏼
Great Tiger. Good day.
i admire your ability to just getting out there. it's hard to stay as consistent as you man.
During months with no ice imma be fishing as much as humanly possible!!😝
@@troutcatchingjedi81 when the ice comes i hibernate until it's too late
I can’t believe how they take it just sitting on the bottom like a bass
Right??? Super weird how sometimes they just hug the bottom looking for an easy meal!! 💪🏼

were you using chub the entire time? Do you think you could catch them on those jigs alone?
Yes we like to tip with chub but definitely can catch without. Some scent on the plastics is helpful-the rainbow trout attractant variety works well.
@@troutcatchingjedi81 thanks, man! Nice catches
