this book 5 had essentially spoiled book 6 by revealing that is was the Sol et al and not the evil lord who masterminded the deaths of the wiard lords. 😄

I find it disappointing that Aiden was hardly ever struck before she was metal! Now she gets hit all the time, often killing blows. We get it, she's metal, don't make her a clumsy

Tervan only had 6 stones he has used 4 already. Plus Perxila says she gets one city but how would they get a stone in her color?
Thervin can change the stones to whatever type of gem is required. Don't know how far you are but during such a conversation as you presented Garvin came in with a stone from an enemy city and Thervin specifically said that he will change this one into his stone and then future stones will be hers.

The dichotomous gods pulling strings and especially the fractured lands and catastrophe are veering too close to the shard series.
Give up on getting more information from Naeun. It shifts into a completely different arc ind it hasn’t been touched on since.
Also I would say biweekly is a good idea for what is to come

It's really putting me off how dense the characters are being when it comes to Salvan. The dude spent 7 years living with the oracles and you guys just spent days upon days listening to prophecies about yourselves... And now you have The journal of that guy explaining how he's setting things in motion and putting things in place for future events. And they're just scratching their heads like they don't know what to make of it and they don't understand. Is it that much of an intellectual leap to assume that Salvan read the prophecies and is putting things in place to make the prophecies happen?
SPOILER ALERT
That is a fair question. The truth is a bit more complex, but Salvon's hand is definitely in the honey pot. Jace always had suspicions about him, and he certainly puts it together in book 6. Having him do so before then would have been possible but not preferable. Let's just say that they are overwhelmed by what is happening and don't take the time to sit back and put the pieces together.
Ive just assumed hes a god among them.. maybe the dark one himself. I mean who else would put in motion the disruption n chaos, the resurgence of dark spawn, death of wizard kings to upset the balance... etc etc

Some spoilers, fair bit of ranting. For those who disagree, that's fine and I get it, but I don't want to hear a single word of "If it's so easy, why don't YOU write a book!?" It's called criticism, I'm sorry if I offend you but I also don't particularly care. You don't have to be an author to have an opinion about something, it's called being sentient and you should try it sometime. Without further ado, here we go!
This is the most ignorant thing I've ever seen someone assume people would do. "Oh, you kidnapped us? AND you held one of our group at knife point while forcing us to go "rescue" someone for you? Are we upset? Nah, you gave us this cute lil chain and ring! Thanks dude!" Absolutely stupid. NO ONE in their right mind would EVER trust or forgive some jackass for literally kidnapping them and then holding one of their own at knife point to extort them into doing a job for them. Who the fuck imagines this and thinks "Yeah, that makes sense."? I literally know not one single person that would be okay with this shit. Not one. I'll wait, you go ahead and change my mind, but don't you dare feed me that line of bullshit about "BUT THEY'RE HEEeeeEEERooooOOOEEESS!" That is absolute bullshit, you don't help someone who almost got you and the person you love killed. You go "Thanks for the trinket, now if I ever see you again I will kill you myself. Have a nice fucking life and don't ever show your face to me again." "BUT HE KNOWS MAAAAAaaaaaaaAAGIC!" And that means what to the bearer of the Eye of Obscurance? Oh right, just two things. Jack and shit.
But that leads me to my second problem. All of the SUPREMELY coincidental things that keep happening. People just randomly getting struck in the worst possible way by things, such as Narine with that block of stone from the lightning that was deflected. Or Garvin kicking that archer, whose arrow JUST HAPPENS to hit the guy BEHIND him in the throat. Once in a while? Sure, things like this can indeed happen. As often as shown here? No. That actually offends me. You are literally building this world and can make it whatever you want, yet you keep relying on this cheap nonsense? No my dude, that's just bad. That's as bad as a DM railroading their players. "Hey guys! You get free agency! As long as you follow this single road and don't turn."
And by the way, I actually figured out where this was going a long time ago. You can tell by my post on the previous audio book, I assumed the 8 Wizardoms were a seal of some type. Lo and behold Hedeisinger, demon thingy locked away by someone and/or something a long time ago. More Wizard Lords drop dead? Freed! I'm assuming it will then either take over Urvadon, or just be free to go wreak havoc on the world in general.
With all that said, I do enjoy the characters of the party. They're mostly decent people (some are still assholes but that's not done in a cruel or vindictive way,) with some having severe issues. I feel that, and I actually appreciate that. "Heroes" aren't these infallible beings, most of my D&D characters are not what you would ever consider to be "heroes." They're average people, with some abilities that wind up in interesting circumstances much like these people. When it's just them and their misadventures, this is one of the most fun stories I've read. Just try to keep in mind that people tend to hold grudges when you threaten to kill someone they love.
