Luke Philpotts I guess, I would’ve booked him at a different time to when the ref did. I get he was fed up but once Gayle got the ball he spent 2-3 minutes rolling it in his shirt, but when the ref booked him he was just walking to the ball slowly. Either way glad he was sent off

With the comebacks we saw with Liverpool and Spurs, minus their top strikers, and we have a slender lead, it would be foolish to think otherwise. Grealish once again showed his quality. Pushing the Albion line deep into their box and and then dishing it out for Conor in space to give us the moment of inspiration we were lacking until that point, and showing why he should have started. Would be harsh to blame Whelan for that opening goal. I think Mings and Tuanzebe were much too seperated and would have closed down the space sooner, had they not have been. If we do it I see Leeds in the final no matter who wins between us and the Baggies. I cannot believe this lot got in the play offs the way they played against us today. What our team learned again today is keep passing it and the chances will come. We weren't at it because of the lay off for some of the team. It matters a lot Stokesy as u know for our players to be playing every game. It made a difference today but the players will find a way. Dean Smith and his staff have worked wonders with this squad and even through the bad days we were learning how to keep faith with his system and the wins started to come and oh Lord did the wins come. Dean Smith said all along that he believed in the group of players he had at the club, and look at where they've taken us. Yes it's only half time and we didn't play well today but as I said this side know how to get the job done now. That lot were time wasting from the 16th minute mate. They never came to take the game to us which shows where their heads are at right now. The supporters have to stay the course every minute of every game with our boys because they never stop trying and that's what Dean and his staff have instilled in this squad of players. U have to agree with that mate. How many times this season have we won games, in that run, not playing well.. That's a sign of a real team togetherness and it has to be laid squarely at Smith and his staff's feet for all that brilliant mental strength the team has gained.
