    Thank you from Australia for this update. I have had a PHEV for last 3 years. C class 350e. and love it. I have bought petrol 7 times. Have just ordered an EQA AMG range. Enjoyed the test drive. But have to wait till about December for delivery. Errrrrr!

      Great choice! It should be well worth the wait - it'll feel very natural getting into the EQA after some time with the C 350 e. Even since getting this video out it has kept me thinking so there is more to come from us with the EQA!

    Great video, very informative and well-founded. Got my EQA last month, night black, black leather, AMG line and full equipment, just beautiful! I have not regretted my purchase decision, the driving experience is simply a dream!

    Ordered an EQA 350 AMG Premium through my company (LeasePlan). It’s a Good looking, comfortable and easy to drive but the range is very disappointing in real world use. The car didn’t come with electric (memory?) seats or head up display so I wouldn’t call it Premium. I had been under the impression that these were included in the model I had ordered but, since it was ordered through a leasing company, it wasn’t easy to clarify what was included.

    At about 2 minutes into the video there is a person cycling a penny farthing. That’s quite a rare thing

      I can totally understand that. It’s not an everyday thing. But then again it might be that guys everyday commute. Did anyone else notice it or just me?

    Why is no one reviewing the new 250+ which offers 320+ miles now?

    • @LandLAutomotive

      Production has only just started for the UK this month - it should be arriving with us shortly. Looking at the technical data it seems to be virtually identical in terms of performance but with some energy management and efficiency upgrades to boost the range. We'll see what it's like when we get behind the wheel!

    Great review, I drive an ix3 which is lot bigger, its due for a change next year and my only concern is the boot space. I suppose I could look at a roof box for holiday trips

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Thank you! The iX3 is on my to-drive list. If you need a little more space then the EQB may be worth a look if you like the style of it! That's closer to the iX3 in terms of boot space with 495 litres with the second row raised and 1700 with them lowered. Check out my video on it if you fancy: czcams.com/video/-xGqYTho8Q0/video.htmlsi=gTfAvNtm-qzilocK
      By the time your change is due the facelifted EQA will be available - this has light exterior and interior tweaks and is due to arrive in the UK in the next few months.

    Hi Ken michael here how do you change the voices in navigation.?

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  Před 2 lety

      Hi Michael! On the lower option bar on the navigation display, tap the speaker icon to turn voice guidance on or off. To make it louder, just use the volume wheel when a voice command is being given - you'll see a pop up with "voice output volume" as you do this appear on screen. There is only one voice to have though! I hope you're loving your new EQA.

    do they show you how long it would take to fully charge

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  Před 2 lety

      DC rapid charging takes 30 minutes for a 10-80% top up, a home wallbox at 7kW does the job in 9 hours and 15 minutes from 10-100%.

    if it takes like 5 hour to charge but i plug it out 8 hours later will it afect the battery

    • @eddiedl6899
      @eddiedl6899 Před rokem +2

      No, in everyday use, you can limit the SOC to 80%. So the car stops charging at 80%. This way the battery health is at its best. For longer trips ypu can savely charge to 100%, because this is not done every day.

  • @RandomRockyCX
    @RandomRockyCX Před 3 lety +1

    Good video, but fossil cars are not 50% effective. Normal fossil cars have a effiency between 25-35%. Toyota managed to do a record off around 38% thermal efficiency.

    • @LandLAutomotive
      @LandLAutomotive  Před 3 lety +1

      Thank you! And that's the figure I was trying to find for road engines - I referenced the Mercedes-AMG M08 F1 engine which reached 50% thermal efficiency in 2017. Now I think about it, the Mazda Skyactiv-X spark controlled compression ignition engines are around a similar efficiency level as the Toyota Dynamic Force engine. Every day is a school day!

    • @RandomRockyCX
      @RandomRockyCX Před 3 lety +1

      @@LandLAutomotive ahh then I makes sense, because the F1 engines are way more optimized then the road going cars👍👍 have a good day, and it's still a very good review of the car😊👍

    What’s the point of watching a review of a Mercedes car by a person who works for Mercedes ? He’s not going to say anything negative about it is he ?
