Nomad View Dispersed Campsite Badlands - A Misadventure
We parked our converted Ram Promaster City van at the Nomadic Dispersed Camping site just outside of Badlands National Park, South Dakota. It was here that we saw bison and bighorn sheep meander in the prairie that surrounded the incredible geographic formations.
We got an early start on our second day in the Badland national Park. The day took a turn for the worse when Irene‘s foot got hung up in the lace loop of her other foot hiking boot. This caused Irene to fall with her weight on her left arm. Although shaken up quite a bit we continued with our journey for another night enjoying the sunset as well as a sighting of a prairie dog!
Follow up note:
On the advice of a doctor from Teladoc I did end up getting my arm x-rayed when we returned home. Glad to say it was not broken.
