It’s awesome how you explain the safety factor .. many people don’t understand the importance of having a safety especially in deeper dives … unfortunately many popular channels don’t advocate for safeties or talk about it 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great video, Im 13 and live in west palm. Started spearfishing a couple months ago and couldn't have done it without you. Simple things like holding the spear tucked in beside me or taking only good shots from the side. Thank you!

I really like this video, Honestly just appreciate having someone experienced like you narratting your own dives and someone elses now to and I would get more out of other videos if more people did the same. Thanks for the videos and keep them coming! I actually booked my first guided spear fishing trip sense I started fishing with a pole spear when I was 16 in the Bahamas almost 20 years ago ! so again. Thanks man your a rock star and I have learned/re-learned a ton watching your content!

Love it Aaron, and wow, that family did indeed work fluently together. One small idea for next time, if you feel like it: Perhaps, end on that super team dive where the second diver unclipped the pig tail instead of ending on the two (small) bummers;). Audiences tend to remember endings the most, so that would have made the whole video seemingly "happier". But as is most often the case, I am just talking whilst others are actually producing real content;)

The teamwork here is awesome and would like to see more of this but I’ve realized in free-diving/scuba it’s about being self-efficient/reliable. The reel makes complete sense now. I’m used to scuba spear fishing and a reel sounds scary(getting wrapped up). Some people I know free line actually but you can’t in free diving. I have a feeling on my upcoming trip to the gulf coast I will limit out thanks to your tips(no more unicorn shots lol) I now watch my own vids on CZcams to self-educate. will probably watch all your vids and promote!

You guys definitely make it look easier than is for sure. If it were easy would it really be worth it? My first year of spearing I spent more time on the boat breathing like a fat kid eating cake than shooting fish but I love it all the more for it! Keep showing us what it’s supposed to look like!

Hey bro big fan here and sub, I'm a commercial fisherman from north florida, I just rewatched your video from ep. 034 and noticed that when you loop your hooks on the deep drop rig you should try looping it from the other side first, mucho better hook up ratio I promise. Not being a smarty just trying to help!

Hey Aaron, Congrats for the little guy on his first grouper, I too shot my first black grouper a couple weeks ago except I’m 17 so he’s quite successful. Also curious what is up with your boat? I passed by Murray’s yesterday and saw that it was out?

I am always wondering what month the videos are filmed. Other viewers might like to know too. Maybe something you can add in the future so people will have an idea about conditions throughout the year. People from cold climates might not realize you can dive pretty much year round in EYW

Bro if u do solo trips u should wear an emergency beacon or have a control for your boat. If u fall off the boat u will die. I know someone who that happened to after the boat drifted faster than they could swim
there were 4 people on the boat this day?
Ha really I know a guy sailing. He fell over board and he died cause the boat drifted off. It does happen. Either u need a remote control for your boat or always be tied to it in case. It happens and doesn’t seem possible but definitely potential deadly and always wear a life jacket. Love the vids. I wish I could do that daily

I’d like to add my opinion to this video. I am a 48 year old male from the east coast of Florida. I have personally watched urban sprawl take it’s effects on Florida’s fishing. I am sure I’m going to get plenty of hatred comments for what I am about to say. First I use to watch Dearmeat and his brother along with Kelly.I also watch YBS. In your case your a guide and a commercial fisherman. When I watched the video of bluegabe drive upon a snapping alligator turtle and question if it was legit to keep it to do his “catch and cook” I immediately unsubscribed. More people should be watching Young Bloods and learning about preserving Mother Nature as opposed to killing a prehistoric animal to make a video. When I recently got a thumbnail of deer meat guy with a giant Jew fish or whatever it was I was appalled. That fish was probably full of worms and no good to eat. Your audience should learn about conservative and cleaning up the environment not just killing a big fish to say look at me. Shame on you all.
I value all of my subscribers opinions, but I can't understand how what other people are doing on their channels has anything to do my channel. I have never harvested anything on my videos that didn't feed myself, my family or my clients. I only take what I need to feed myself and make a living.
Deer meat for dinner, blue Gabe and Kelly- lets kill it and make a video. Endangered alligator snapping turtle. Giant Goliath grouper ( worthless to eat unless you like leather.. or worms) great video content, but where’s your mission statement? Promote cleaning beaches. Conserving our game and wildlife and less emphasis on clean and cooks. I’m unsubscribing to you and you should think about your moral compass.
@@kellystevenson4612 Shame on you for judging someone you know nothing about. you have no idea how much time and money I give back to keeping our oceans clean, how much plastic I remove from our ocean daily on my charters. I don't post about this because I don't seek praise. Again you have failed to explain to me how their channels have anything to do with mine. I would prefer if people like you didn't watch my videos. @@KeyWestWaterman while your channel is separate then the others, talk of collaboration with those channels is what turned me from you. There is a big difference between seeking praise and using your public platform to encourage your viewers to do good. Be a advocate. Is that not why you are here? To use your channel? Who wouldn’t want to promote cleaning our oceans? Look at the late Jose Wejebe or Flip Pallot. Jose’s legacy and advocacy lives on to this day still. As soon as you promoted those 2 channels you endorsed that behavior, yet you stay silent about the good you do? It makes no sense. You will never be in their class. Farewell forever you hypocrite. Don’t let your little ego get hurt and move on.
