      +Rachel & Jun I've been to this place!! It was sooo beautiful! I went here a year ago and it was one of the best moments in my life. But you have to know the boat was a bit shaky, it was quite windy and yeah it rained a bit...it was quite an unlucky day for me,I am very terrified by the idea of deep water ( I know the water isn't that deep but still scary!!!) . But nothing happened and I'll return next year.

    I love the videos of the Japan countryside. Maybe it's not fair - but I feel like cities are cities everywhere in the world and it's the nature parts that are most beautiful and unique to a country.

    • @LezleyDavidson
      @LezleyDavidson Před 8 lety +2

      +Porco Rosso I grew up in Toronto and have been to NYC twice. I'm not so fussed about visiting big cities - though I think really old cities in Europe or the Middle East would be amazing to visit.

    • @ahappyfrenchtoast2669
      @ahappyfrenchtoast2669 Před 8 lety +5

      +Lezley Davidson Can't agree more. In tokyo I was pretty bored (I had a great time too) but when I went to the countryside, I got to see another side of Japan. In tokyo people were pretty cold, just like people in my city (i live in a metropolitan city so I know how people in city are like) and they were pretty much indifferent of our presence. But in the countryside of japan they welcomed us with tremendous warmth and it felt like paradise on earth.

EDIT: As someone who enjoys singing myself, I can only imagine what it feels like to sing in a place like that where your voice comes back at you off the rocks like that. The feeling of it is almost like a natural high.

    I went to Tokyo for summer vacation, and you came to my town. That's such a coincidence!
    I like Geibi-kei. But I since I live here, it's just too common place. Like, it's not special to me because I can go there whenever I want, ya know? But visiting Meiji-Jinja and Asakusa, Akihabara, Harajuku, that was exciting for me because I've wanted to do it since I came to Japan 2 years ago.
    I agree, though, I highly recommend people visit Tohoku. We have some beautiful shrines and temples too. There's a 4 temple pilgrimage that takes you to some of the best temples in Tohoku, though Zuiganji is still under construction. Two temples in Hiraizumi, one in Yamagata, and Zuiganji in Matsushima. There's so much to see up here. I'm so glad so many youtubers are highlighting Tohoku!
