I just have to point out that you switched U and C. Awesome video though, I've used XDA for about 6 months and I love them. Even for gaming, I don't move my fingers around a lot (MMO mouse) so it's a non issue for me personally!

xda profiles saved me since im coming from a laptop keyboard so its not slanted or anything just flat amazing. thank you for reviewing this so i know what keycaps i can pick!

I use XDA profile for gaming and honestly I will never go back to anything else so nice comfy and just great overtake
Fruit snacks, baby. I actually really liked the sound of those keys. If only someone made some custom-printed XDA keys for an Ergodox setup with more than one option for colors and print.
2:11 I have these keycaps, and wen putting them on my board I noticed thatif you turn the key cap around there is a tiny cutout to signify the bottom of the keycap, basically u put the C and U key in the wrong spots cause they look similar, but the U font is slightly slimmer than the C. Overall I am really enjoying the comort of these keycaps
This also explains the I N and O keys

thank you for the painters tape trick. I'm going to try it later today - I stopped using my hammer lagoon keycap because it would pop off of one side, and I wasnt sure how to fix it.
XDA or really any kind of low profile caps fits anyone that switch between qwerty and dvorak/colemak layouts very often. I personally use XDA on my board but for gaming I switch to the cherry profile

same i got a 65% with a shorter right shift key and like now I realized i gotta find a shorter keycap

Since I just threw a set of these on my RK61 I have to give the obligitory YAY! also I love them for the price you get way more than you pay for minus a few very small Legend issues I have to say I love them. They could be a bit more vibrant IMHO but I honestly can't bitch about it too much.

I got an OEM set of these, and though they look good, when I finally tried to install them I found that the spacebar was too warped to use.

I think it kinda did, less space for it to reverb through the cheap plastic!
I would love to see some unique profile types like KAT or MDA or anything that isn't common and there isn't much info on.

Hey I saw a nice xda keycaps on Amazon but I want them for gaming too, can you say me if are good for gaming not competitive
How was your typing accuracy and consistency after using it for three weeks? I have a set of XDA Geometry coming this weekend and would like to know your experience to temper expectations.
Honestly didn't change too much, but I use this keyboard on and off whenever I need a small and light keyboard on my desk (e.g while filming) I would say XDA can be a bit of a doozy at first if coming from a taller profile but won't take long to get used to
Alright thank you! I'm using the low cherry profile keycaps right now but I love the aesthetic of XDA more. Hopefully I'll adapt and enjoy working and light gaming on it. Thanks again for your comment.

Finally an XDA version. Wanted a cheap keycap set and sure as hell didn't want to try OEM so the fact that there's an XDA version of it is reassuring
Still the fact that not all the letters on it are aligned does bother me
Yeah the letter alignment is fairly annoying....
I just noticed that the lettering is not aligned because it's forming a wave-like pattern to fit the theme
How did you make the stablizer space bar sound so deep?

@@ItsJustGianluca I recently got different keycaps but I used those ones for about 8 months and I still liked them, but honestly I recommend normal profile keycaps
For people who have OCD, they probably should not get this set because of the inconsistent legend positions. The I and O keys looked especially off.

@@tainguyenminh4269 yeah you are right. I guess it's upside down since it's XDA. But there are still some inconsistencies in the legends other than the I and O keys.

im surprised that you didnt say anything about the actual legends being off center. I know that you can't really complain about that for the price, but I even usually cant notice stuff like that unless I look really hard where with these, that was the first thing I saw

Just a precaution: There is no other 1.75u key ap other than the capslock. I bought them but realized afterwards that there was no 1.75u keycap to cover my smaller shift key so I had ti have in my stock keycap to cover them

I found Coral Sea keycaps with hiragana font. The font is much better than the old OEM ones. However the alphas are pure white, not off white like the one you have.

I might review the rk61 in the future, brown switches are fine but I prefer red or yellow switches more. The k870t might be better if you need the arrow keys

it's just 60% boards won't cut it for me
or else was looking at the sk64 a bit too small for my taste. i love the tkl and 70% boards
probably will get rk71 they are the cheapest browns with rgb in my country
Considering that the womier is has like no typing angle, that is like FLAT FLAT. How hard was it to adapt to?
Honestly not as bad as I expected, I had a bit of a WPM hit from the profile difference but really could type on it just as well as my ID80.

How to know if I would like to type on xda profile? The OEM profile has too long of travel distance and small surface area for me. Probably because I'm used to my membrane Logitech keyboard. Would like to have the mech version of that keyboard.
I thk you will cause the profile is also quite high(but shorter than OEM),but you get more surface are to type on, if you want I would say try chery profiles? It is way shorter but it has a small surface area. I'm not sure about DSA but you can check it out

Is it just me or the fonts on the XDA ones seem slightly disoriented? Especially the Z and B fonts. They look like they're printed more on the left side and it doesn't feel like it's in the centre?
Yeah they are for sure a bit jumbled, a common problem with cheap dye sub
