Somaliland is a great country that has lots of potential. In 2023 they will dig up oil with Taiwan. Somaliland has now a great poort too build by the United Arab Emirates that helps to grow the economies of Somaliland and Ethiopia.
Somaliland is located in one of the best locations when it comes to maritime trade links (at the Bab Al Mandeb Strait and at the mouth of the red sea which is a lifeline passage for Asian and European trade).
You forgot to mention that Somaliland has also Kenyans, Yemenis citizens living and working their.

Somaliland, officially the Republic of Somaliland, is a de facto state in the Horn of Africa, considered internationally to be part of Somalia.

your are given wrong information.... somaliland gain its independent from british in 1960.6.26.. before somalia and Djibouti and Kenya... and made a huge mistake when it united with somalila (italian somalia 1960.7.1).. but the union was a big mistake..it didn't go well... soo after there was a civil war between hargiesa and muqdisho...which ended to civil war... and after Somalia colaps somaliland retreted from the failed union... and become independent in 1991.5.18....

Somaliland got in to a union with somalia on July 1960.
Somaliland is not breaking away from no one!
The union between the two countries dissolved after a long civil war!
