  • This Will Make Moving The Chickens Easier | Gallagher S12
    Since we started raising chickens and other livestock, we have been using the Gallagher poultry netting and solar energizers. Since then, Gallagher wanted us to try out their S12 to see if it would be easier to use and provide enough charge to the netting.

      Yes. But we are doing a pasture that will be more of a permanent space, but I use electric fencing for pretty much all of our livestock, goats and pigs.

      This poultry netting and the solarizer would allow your chickens to be out in the opening and keep the land predators away. You don't have to get the 164' one. There is a 84' one that could wrap around your coop easily.

      Yes if you're getting the meat birds, definitely get you this poultry fence. When have seen dogs and our cat try to get near the fence and sent the animals running. This is a 164' fence. The solarizer we purchased was the S10. However, I'm liking the S12 better.
      Cost, I will have to check their website for the cost for both the netting and solarizer. In our link tree on bio is their website link, check it out for prices because those keep changing on EVERYTHING lately 🤦🏿‍♂️

    Curious as to how the S12 charger is actually working with the electric netting as even Gallagher’s website has a notice on the listing stating that it should not be used with poultry or sheep netting.🤔

    • @TheNakidGardeners
      @TheNakidGardeners  Před 2 lety +1

      We asked the rep and he recommended that this would have a good charger and compatible for the poultry fencing. 🤷🏾‍♂️
      As you can see in the video it holds a good charge when nothing is grounding the fence out.

      Mike explained it in the video. Basically we garden and tend to our land organically. No synthetic fertilizers. Congratulations on moving to your land. How many acres and where are you getting the land? We try to protect our animals as much as possible with the Gallagher Fencing. Great warranty and customer service.

    • @TheNakidGardeners
      @TheNakidGardeners  Před rokem

      YES! For poultry in our area it has been very essential. We have not lost an animal due to land predator with this netting nor S12. We enjoyed it so much we purchase about 2 more from Gallagher. What are you using your fencing for?
