A non-custom shop American ultra fender is £2199. Cheapest custom shop tele at andertons is £3599. How is the price point ridiculous when prs consistently builds higher quality guitars than both Fender and Gibson custom shop? The silver sky made me sell my custom shop stratocaster.

@@drsrsv8884 You don't have to be poor to deem a particular guitar not worth it, for me there's plenty of boutique teles around, this isn't worth it's value for me when boutique Andersons are not so far away. You jumping to that conclusion does however tell me you are pretty insecure.
I think they listened ,over a year ago I posted as to why theres no tele prs,now there is, I also just added 2 more prs to my collection, a SE silver sky & a 594
I am not a PRS guy but at first glance and listen I like it! also that boy demoing sure can play geetar! yeehaw...sorry got carried away! ps funny thng is it lresembles the orginal snakehead tele design
I just can't get past the look of the neck. If the neck was the same color of the body, then I'd be more on board, but their maple necks always look like they're unfinished and just grabbed a 2×4 at Home Depot and painted some birds on it.
Cool guitar, good tones but it seems that creativity in guitar designs is going away. I’m thoroughly pleased with the designs from the 50s and 60s, but to say that every other manufacturer has to just copy it now is too much. PRS used to seem like they took inspiration but over the last few years they’ve become more and more another S and T copy. Perhaps these are better but as far as originality goes, no.
I’m kinda torn… I thought the MK guitar was gonna have hotter output pickups but they sounded a bit “weaker” than the NF guitar. Am I hearing things? I prefer the fatter sounds coming from said NF53.

I own a 2001 McCarty. I generally like PRS. But this guitar doesn’t do it for me. PRS headstocks with the T body…na. Not for me. For those who like it, more power to you.

Appreciate you guys taking some high gain takes with it. Mostly guys doing super clean stuff, but I wanna see it wail! Excellent playing.
Shame about the 3-piece bodies. I might've expected 1 or at most 2 pieces from a USA PRS model... ..and especially at the quoted prices 🤷♂

I dunno about “ridiculous”, but they’re doing such a good job with the SE’s lately, I’ll be waiting for that.
Don’t worry, if these sell they will quickly raise the price of the Silver Sky to match.

3k is a very high price, guitar sounds good, looks good, etc. but the price is very off putting for me. maybe one day they pull a SE version of this.

Clean sounds rather hard, but that could be the Friedman amp or a heavy hand by the player

Extremely lightweight! Our current NF 53 models weigh around 6lb 14oz. Our Myles Kennedy's weight just under 8lbs!
