This video was the most helpful in getting it. I downloaded the app and started playing with the notes. With the app you get the instant feedback of doing it right which prompt you to focus on repeating it until it is second nature. Great video!!!

Tqvm, this is the best techniques for harmonica bending for beginner, yes... within minutes I manage to drop from D to Db, so happy although is not perfect but is dropping, very happy indeed. Thanks again. The author really did a unique start by using holes 1, 4, 6 to teach bending and the right hand dropping sign, both are very effective methods👍👍👍

All these tongue guys . Well it is good for frenching but not everybody has the same tongue . I am beginner and am only looking ahead but I can spot those who can help me and those who can't . This guys seems to have it going on and he is the first to recommend a tuner . i am a guitarist but i am trying to learn tthe harmonica and am on the C one right now.

For me it will be a great help to hear the bending notes and then try to repeat them...
It's an app called perfect piano. You can also find some other piano apps like real piano etc.

anyone willing to help me. ive played saxophone and irish flute for years but i cant do any bends..not even 1 note on any hole on any key... my question perhaps not all players will ever be able ive worked at this now for 6 months daily.

It's an app that is free. You can download it on google play store. Maybe it's available for iphones too, I'm not sure.
Hi i hav silver star hohner F key....very hard blowing needed....and iam getting only half bend only.
It's hard to bend on F harp because it's the highest harmonica key and the reeds are small. Also, Silver star harmonica is beginner harp which is not of a good quality, so I suggest you to buy Special 20 in key of C. You'll see that it will be so much easier to bend. Cheers!
