Myself ex-christian became a muslim +3years ago, subhan Allah🤲💞🌎 i hope to read some of her books, inchaAllah🤲 Myself i have started writing a book about my relationship with Allah=God, amongst other things, events i've experienced. NO religion is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
I highly recommend people to pray daily to God because regardless of the manipulation and/or misperfection of each, God exist and we NEED His protection from evil, as well as His guidance so as to be and remain on the path of righteousness/morality.
God is 1 (i reject completely the 3nity), & we don't need intermediates, nor to be in a particular place to pray. We should use our words when praying (being inspiredby existing prayers is fine but not to be dictated/limited to those!).
Last but nor least, God/Allah (it is the same word just in a different language) is available 24/7. He looks at the sincerity of our heart, not at His watch!lol subhan Allah🤲💖

I agree most of what you say, with my limited English. I also think that none of our religions are perfect, since they are "our" religion, not the absolute truth. They are not 100% isolated from our cultures, prejudgements etc. Even reading the Quran many times (especially in non Arabic languages), it cannot be fully/absolutely/clearly understood.
Our effort to understand Islam, is like trying to watch a 4K video on a very low resolution portable player. So, the first thing we should do is trying to improve our resolution.
In Ms.Karen's speech, I can feel that high resolution and open-mind.

About the difficulty in praying 5 times daily, keep trying. If your mind yearns to pray, yet the physicality of it becomes difficult for you, even if it is 1 out of five or 2 out of five you can do, keep doing and pray to God to grant you ease. Insha Allah you will find it easy and doable.
The importance of the 5 daily prayers is very important in islam. It gives you the constant reminder that you are nothing compared to the majestic nature of the creator of this world. It humbles you and keeps you level headed amongst other things.
I found it difficult to pray even during ramadan. But my mind was always yearning to do it and i tried my best and did ask God to grant me the easiness of doing it. I can tell you categorically that i find it effortless right now to pray, even waking up to pray everyday at midnight to do tahajud. May God grant you ease and may He guide every other person who struggles to pray yet yearns for it. At the end of the day i guess we are all work in progress. Salam aleykum.

In today's world people are often encouraged to express themselves, which leads to the empty vessels making the most news....
So what a breath of fresh air it is to see someone convey themselves in such a manner....

💚Please note these are not the complete ayats, but I took keywords from each ayat. If you would like to read the full ayat, then check the reference.
💬For example take a look the first statement:
🌹Don't insult (Q49:11), when you google Quran 49:11, then you will see the complete surah’s English translation and you will see following:
☝️🕋O believers! Do not let some ˹men˺ ridicule others, they may be better than them, nor let ˹some˺ women ridicule other women, they may be better than them. Do not defame one another, nor call each other by offensive nicknames. How evil it is to act rebelliously after having faith! And whoever does not repent, it is they who are the ˹true˺ wrongdoers.☝️🕋
    🤲🌻ALWAYS REMEMBER🌻🤲:
✍Allah is the most merciful and forgiving, no matter how much you have been sinning, run towards Allah , turn to Allah and repent , ask for forgiveness. Some references from the Quran:
    🌺🌺🌺🕋Quran 39:53🕋🌺🌺🌺
Say, ˹O Prophet, that Allah says,˺ “O My servants who have exceeded the limits against their souls! Do not lose hope in Allah’s mercy, for Allah certainly forgives all sins. He is indeed the All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
    🌺🌺🌺🕋Quran 25:70🕋🌺🌺🌺
As for those who repent, believe, and do good deeds, they are the ones whose evil deeds Allah will change into good deeds. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
