Robin please try Tigi matte seperation wax. Its a budget hair product. Do a review if you think its worth it.

Would you use a grooming cream before say a heavy oil based pomade? I usually just use that grooming spray.

KMS Hot Flex is the first heat protectant spray I've tried and I think it works wonderfully. Gives good volume and doesn't have that sticky texture (smells good, too).
Useful as always, I was about to buy that one.

Hey Robin, what product would you recommend for washing my beard? Would a normal face wash product do the job? I do have a beard balm that I put on for conditioning and control, but I don't feel like the L'Oreal Charcoal face wash I use really cleans my beard.
Hey! There are specific beard shampoos but I've never tried them. It's important to keep your face and beard hydrated, so if you do shampoo it, try using a beard oil.
Robin James yeah, I've tried out about 5-6 but none of them work well. I know you don't dabble in them, as you said, but would you or anyone you know have any recommendations?

Hi Robin. Thanks for another honest review. I am using it regularly as pre styler nowadays as I ran out of Mr. Dandy's hair candy. It works ok for my hair. Haven't given much thought to chemical and hair thickness effect. So, thanks for mentioning it :)

My main question is: does Sidekick really offer a heat protection? My hair is extremely thin, so in my case it's crucial to use a heat protector on my hair before the blow dryer.

KMS Hot Flex is the best heat protector/pre-styling spray I've tried. Makes the hair healthy-looking and easily workable and smells nice. Always my go-to before using a clay or wax.

I love the honest review but you should try it on wetter hair and then use a styler ( like revolution wax )
Hi Robin, test Reuzel Grooming Tonic. Also a prestyler. Smells good and gives a good shiny old school look.
Another recommendation is to try their new clay and fiber pomade. I haven't tried that one out yet.

This review was surprising to me, besides the synthetic smell and the obvious chemically ingredients, I've found that sidekick works exceptionally well for me, not sticky or rough in my hair. I personally love this product and use it every day. But that is just one simple man's opinion. :)

Robin , did you try it in wet hair , cause i actually use it every day and for me it actually becomes a lot better when i use it in wet hair , also i have really thick hair.

Hi Robin......I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now and think they are great. I've finally got around to subscribing.........so........I recently spent nearly £20 on a product called Da Wax by Da Dude from Sweden ......it's meant to be one of the best around .....I'm a little disappointed although their customer service is fab !! Have you reviewed this product or can you suggest something similar without the high price tag ?
