A Mexican over there would be considered an "Indio" an Indian, meaning an Indian from N America which were the Native North American Mexica or any of the other slave descendants including south american and central american. . It is to demean their brown appearance. People think their own surnames are mexican when they really are the names of the Caucasians that came to enslave their ancestors.
