Well, enjoy them because you have to have 1/2 chains. DOT will let know. Has far as running the chains to the front axle, your taking to much time. You only need to chain the rear axle with the boom. Single chain the front. Hopefully you have better luck then mine. Had to completely rewire mine and keep a extra motor in the truck. There warranty sucks on it and you will never get them on the phone. Oh, and the battery will not stay charged. GOOD LUCK WITH IT.
Believe that if you want to. It has a constant hot running to it all the time. I just did away with it and the battery and ran a hot and ground off the truck battery and it even worked better.
