Astral Radiance Booster Box - WEIGHED PACK OPENING

- Astral Radiance is the 10th expansion in Sword and Shield era. In this video, I test the weighing theory I discovered in my previous videos. Light packs contain the black bordered code cards and contain a holo or better in the rare spot. Trainer Gallery is a subset found in the reverse holo spot and therefore cannot be accurately found. However, in this video, I was able to 95% pinpoint where all the black bordered code cards were located by the weight distribution. The results are very different this time. Heavy packs...were the hits. All of them. Pokemon tried to fix it but they broke it again.
Use this information responsibly.

Thanks for your very informative video. Sad to see that even though the code card problem is fixed, now there is a new one.
Also, as a heads up from watching your video, the reason for the pack weight differences is that the non holo rares looked to be around 1.6 grams (aka really light), the holo rares were normal weight of 1.8 grams and the hits were around 2 grams+. That was the weight difference. Everything else was consistent
Yup, it's just the uncommons too. It's super weird
OMG that gold card is my chase card! Hopefully I’ll be as lucky as you!
Not able to weigh au stock, 33 packs weighed 20.00 grams 3 packs 20.44-20.48. Tried 3 boxes all seem to be similar
Yeah this set can be weighed for sure. Because that code card is the same weight almost.
V star code card weighs more I would imagine right?
Thanks for your videos. It's good for people to know what loose packs are save to buy! :) But interesting thing - there is about 5 videos on YT at this time, with the same content and the result are different. ??? Only your BB was easy weightable. The others videos show, that Astral radiance is NOT weighable. How could it be?
It can probably be explained by the variance in the card stock. There are multiple factories printing this stuff. If you check my next video, I show you what went wrong with the uncommon/rare cards that make my box (and the production line on my area) have the same issue. This definitely is not a global issue, but some place printed bad cards.
im shareing your pain with opening that light packs
Lol but why though?
Are the V Star cards their way of throwing the weights off randomly? But as many error packs missing cards, missing codes, double codes, extra cards. Man the errors with these newer prints are insane. Then now we have different style trainer gallery and radiants. And v stars feel heavier. Luckily no one with half a brain should ever be buying lose packs any longer. There's really no need and anyone who is selling lose packs is already suspect.
Vstar marker? They weigh the same as a regular energy. It doesn't change anything. Check out my math breakdown vid
Oh sweet.
Did you check the weight of the VStar marker? If it weighs +/- of he regular energy cards, that might explain the difference.
I'll make a second video with math breakdown it's actually really shocking what the issue is this time around 😅
@@ctrlaltQQ can’t wait to see the video! My boxes aren’t here yet, so I’ll be ready with my scale. Thanks for doing this.
@@debbiestevensfletcher8737 I can't wait to hear what your results are...I don't know if my box is just weird or it's consistent. Let me know how yours turn out
@@ctrlaltQQ I will let you know!
You pulled a radiant out of a light pack? So there still might be 1 or 2 more of those since you can get up to 3.
theres zero chance. I've just done the research.. about to upload a video explaining why
So the heavy packs are the ones with the hits right?
only if they're in the 21g range. I explain why in my next video. 22g is the usual range of a modern pack
Following up I did see this guy open his packs and one of his lights included the beedril full art czcams.com/video/lU-OH9Hguwk/video.html&ab_channel=Pok%C3%A9Trialz So, maybe not completely conclusive or perhaps his is less consistent?
do you know if his is 22 or 21 grams? I didnt see any indicator. if you check my next video, I explain why 21 gram range had this issue
Holy shit im gonna get so many good cards on this first wave HAHAHAHAH
I hope you do! I doubt this will be a global issue tho
I commented on one of your other pokemon weighing videos, and i still think they do it on purpose,
I think they're trying to fix it. The code card differential is now implemented correctly. It's just that they messed up the nonholo cards this time. An uncommon weighs 1.57g vs a V which is 2.00g... makes it easy to find the heavy hits
You keep referring to the rest of the packs as junk as you continue to pull good cards like the moltrees and the radiant grenanja. Unglad they at least put the trainer gallery hits in so that now the light packs still at least can contain something
That's the thing...light packs don't have anything. If you watch my next video, I break down all the numbers
Can u handweigh the packs
unless you're superhuman, I would say no
Seems like you should open the bad packs and give the good ones to your kids? XD
No kids to give to 🤣
The time you need to open a pack is just ridiculous. Learn to open em or idk use scissors? ...
Sad to hear you call the light packs "junk" (I totally get them being junk to a person who would weigh the packs to resell for profit) but you almost act like you don't even like pokemon 🥲 And I disagree that this set will not hold value. With the trainer gallery, even tho the cards may be cheap now, the value of cards almost always climbs after product stops being put into collection boxes, etc. So I predict that in about 6 months - 1 year, all the cards will climb in value. Also, the origin form duo isn't as unpopular as you think. You have some very strong opinions on what is "popular" and what is not. But with that being said, very informative video!
I'm just not happy with the way pokemon pull rates are right now. It's all about the chase, everything else is just mediocre. To get a master set of anything, it's like you need to open 1000 packs. Compare to the original base set, you open 2 boxes and you have a master set
