This makes zero sense. Bayo owns GIP, and obv sold his company only because HE wanted to lol. Plus Blackrock made the purchase not FInk. Fink is worth $1B and is a salaried CEO... at a $12B price tag for GIP, Ogunlesi undoubtedly becomes worth more than Fink even accounting for other partners, and will very likely get significant BlackRock equity ownership.

Dude. I fail to see how on Earth him selling a company for 12.5Billion dollars is ANY indication of unsuccessful? He wasn't pushed into a sell. Blackrock paid at a significant premium and he felt it was a good enough premium. Blackrock isn't about white and black. You can be a shareholder of Blackrock and now Blackrock would work for you. Don't blind your economic freedom with the prejudicial brush you might experience socially.
