It is touching how Rosanne loves her father so much and he loves her. Two Classy talented people.

I'm so glad that I bought her debut album. I've loved her ever since, and this is still one of her best songs. She is Johnny's daughter, that's for sure, but she has not had to ride his coattails. She is a wonderfully talented songwriter, singer and musician. Even after his death, he is still a giant. Like her daddy, she will be remembered in her own right.

Her story behind The List is beautiful. What a great relationship they must have had to perform together and share a love for country music. She is fantastic in person too.

In 1984, Johnny Cash invited his daughter Rosanne Cash to perform No Memories Hangin' Round on TNN's Nashville Now. It was written by Rodney Crowell, and performed by Bobby Bare and Rosanne Cash, taken from her first Columbia album; 1980's Right or Wrong.👍

This is one of the video that made me believe he was not in love with June, that their love story was just an act. Look at him. He is a nervous wreck. He was actually shy. This guy right here, that's the real Johnny Cash. He is singing with his daughter. This is as real as he gets.

@ richard hansen Hey Richard, that' s not the truth entirely. In John ' s autobiografie (CASH, 1997) he says that Rodney Crowell is one of his favorite songwriters besides Steve Goodman, John Prine and Guy Clark. Just mentioning. Greetings CD

The reason why I say his affection was all an act when it came 2 June Carter is, I actually believe internally, Johnny Cash was shy. All this over the top public display of affection was not really his way. You can see that right here. Rosanne, Kathy with a K, Cindy and Tara brings out his true personality, and that is, he is really shy. I tell you. Dear Rosanne, Kathy, with a K, Cindy and Tara, his remorse started right away. The fact that he walked away from all of you, my feeling is, he profoundly regretted it right away. He was remorseful right away. I am not sure what happened right around 1975. However, I am certain that he did not become more remorseful then, he simply could no longer contained his remorse. There is nothing I am reading in Marshal Grant book that I have not already figured out. His book is not unlocking any doors. I had already figured out that his interest in June was not the obsession that history made it out to be. I had already figured out that his parents preferred Vivian over June. That was a given. Vivian, wasn't in love with Johnny Cash, she was in love with the guy who became Johnny Cash. In that respect, they and Vivian had a lot in common. I had already figured out that when he was strung out, he was a shame to look Vivian in the eyes. I wondered if he had a similar disposition with his parents, his brothers and sister. Marshall Grant's book confirmed that he did. Which only solidify my belief that even at the height of his relationship with June, he was still in love with Vivian. He was an addict, and foresee being one for the rest of his life, perhaps? I don't know. Still cannot figured out why he never just went back to Vivian. This is a free country. Why did he need June to give him his freedom. I had already figure out that he did not treat June well. I wondered if he believed he had done the unforgiveable. Did he do something so bad, that he felt he could no longer ever look Vivian in her eyes. I know. What kind of a man leave a woman he is madly in love with? And Johnny Cash was madly in love with Vivian. How do I know this? The pictures. All of them. Even the one on the Court House. In every picture he takes with Vivian, I see a Johnny Cash I've never seen. And If someone reason that he once was in love with Vivian, but he fell even deeper for June, well I would say the Johnny Cash who was in love with Vivian and the one who later fell in love with June is the same guy. Vivian gave us a precedent. She showed us how Johnny Cash face looks when he's in love. I tell you. Johnny Cash would have been a better man, and unbeknownst to him, a better entertainer, had he just walked away from that whore. She was a whore, please. Nashville made her a savior. A queen, an angel. The truth painted a more accurate picture.

no offense meant, but that sounded like crap. Her version with Bobby Bare was much better. Johnny was getting pretty old when they did this.

You’re deaf. It’s because Johnny is bass baritone and she’s a high tenor. So it’s gonna sound off I guess.
