You need to find a bigger one so that you can go ahead and cut THAT big one right there! Because that thing is gonna be FILLED with tubes and red/white banding. Those "pull down" designs are tubes eroding lengthwise. Either way, that thing is already amazing on the outside. Those other agates are pretty sweet too. That's a great spot! That sagenite spray on the smaller stone was gorgeous as well.
Also, congrats on finding a scale with your name on it. That will never happen to me. :D LOL!

You’re so fortunate to live where there are such beautiful rocks. Here I have granite, granite, and more granite. I’m jealous.
In days gone by, my family camped on the Keewenaw Penninsula to hunt Lakers; never found anything this big but I saw someone who did. She rescued it from the roots of a tree close by the beach after a storm. I'm not a fan of people who want to immediately cut everything they find (or buy). In the one you found, I would like to see a number of "windows" polished to show the agate patterns wherever they peek out. This would leave the matrix intact and just have the highlighted spots.

Looks like an agate from Thunder Bay. The reason it’s so big is because it’s a vein agate. Congrats!
Don’t vein agates typically have a flatter top and bottom with host rock? I could see the band like structure similarities of vein but also a rough tube on the large nodule scale.

That agate is awesome, and I have to admit I would cut it if I had a saw, I love seeing what's inside, even if its not great, its still something nobody has ever seen before, thank you for risking frost bite and taking us with you on your adventures and congrats, it really is an awesome lake superior agate!

Love your view box - works so well. Can you put a leash on it and hook it to your pants so it doesn't wander too far? The porphory that you picked up had some wider crystals on it. Neat. Congratulations! You need some hip waders. My great uncle wore them every day that I knew him, he was a logger that pulled logs out of the woods with Arabian horses and had to wade creeks and springs to do it.

This dude has some stones. Rocks are one of those primal "bedrocks" of our civilization. We've made weapons, tools, and houses out of them. We may have used them to light the first campfire. All that and they're pretty if you take time to look.
