No matter how Nick Foles’ career will go from here on, he will be remembered forever for two things;

In my 50 years of being a die hard Eagles fan, I’ve never saw a team with so much heart, cohesiveness, love for each other and their God. They worked so hard for this, and they wanted it with their hearts. It was so clear. This was well deserved, and possibly one of the best Super Bowl match ups ever! Fly Eagles Fly!

There are few times in a man’s life when he cries. This is a time when I cried! So much emotion and the music just welled up inside me. When I was 8 my dad took me to an Eagles game in Philadelphia. It was 2004, the last season we made it to the big game. He always told me, “One day, this team is gonna win the Super Bowl, and when that day comes you and me will be on the couch screaming our heads off!” From that day forward, I became an Eagles fan. Even when knowing the stigma that Eagles fans carry. We didn’t win, but we kept at it. My dad told me that “when we do win, you’re coming to Philly for the parade, even if I have to call you out of school.” My dad tragically passed away in 2013. I was 17. 4 and half years later, this happened, and all I could think about was how he wasn’t on the couch next to me. Football truly is a way of life, and Eagles fans truly are the most passionate fans in the world! I’m proud to be an Eagles fan!

Bledsoe went down early. It was pretty clear Brady wasn't just a backup by the time he made it to the playoffs. The difference here is people had actually SEEN Foles play for a number of seasons before labeling him an actual backup and he proved them all wrong. Only playing a couple regular season games and the entire playoffs.
Giants did it with a backup in Super Bowl 25.
Brady is pretty good; but he played backup to Nick Foles in this game (2nd in this game; Foles was #1 ; touchdowns win; not the most yards, think about it); Ertz, and the lick by the safety; and great head coach.
