If ever there were a perfect metaphor for the mystery of creativity-for trying to understand the beauty, life, and order of the universe-it may just be ocean waves.
Waves can be beautiful. Waves can be rough. Waves can move you gently or knock you off your feet.

I do allot of “muffin mix “ art because of art orders , but to keep me fresh and in touch with myself .. I Allow myself to do something purely because I am inspired to do a project that I want to do at the same time .... ;)

I can so relate to this. I worked to meet deadlines and meeting metrics in a stressful career. Now that I've retired I realize how much I am getting back to the real me that God created. Took awhile to heal from corporate life. It's left a fear of the business side of art.

I just stumbled upon this channel a few days ago because I was doing some research for my second book . I have noticed a big difference from when I wrote my first book without God and now, when I am writing with God for my second book, things just come together a lot more easily.
