Fantastic singer, but all you Jacobs School of Music applicants needed lessons in Italian: double consonants are there for a reason. It's "diletto", not "dileto". I keep on hearing this over and over again and it's mind boggling how nobody corrected you all! With a last name like Troisi I was hoping you had it!

Non capisco il distinguo. Ho lavorato per trent'anni come doppiatore e sono nipote di una cantante lirica americana che cantava tutte le sue doppie consonanti in italiano con la giusta enfasi. "Di-le-to" non è co-re-to.

Quando si canta nella musica classica si fa attenzione alle note e al suono. La dizione ha un ruolo marginale.
