I will be riding through 154 to catch 101 all the way to Oregon on my harley...leaving 3am Saturday from Yorba Linda...I cant wait...a bucket list ride
Have fun! Take a side trip at Salinas and head over to Monterey on Highway 68 if you can. Its a beautiful ride as well and takes you right past Laguna Seca Raceway. Just a couple of minutes taking in the views of Monterey Bay will revitalize you as you head north towards the Redwoods NF and the Oregon Coast. Thanks for watching!
@@ridealongwithscott thanks buddy...I would but it's labor day weekend with the heat I'm betting the beach and pch are going to be zooed with ppl....I'm going to be in enough traffic...lol...I'm gonna save the coastal ride for when I get north of SF...maybe next time

I live in Ventura county and took this hwy 154 but never gone as far as this beautiful drive you just took me through. But now I will be soon so relaxing calm and the music is amazing, kinda put me in a nice trance 🏞 thank you for this amazing trip😎 God bless🙏

dont drive 154 at the middle of the night 3am. Extremely dark dangerous and creepy. lol...coming from the bay area and hoping to take 101 the whole way, and was by buellton when they closed off the freeway. then detour through solvang and and 154 east. Scariest drive of my life...ahaha.... a lot tailgators and speeding car on the one lane

Awesome!! Esp. the cloud surfing part at the top of the pass. Your choice of music totally fits the scenery. I’ve always loved driving the 154 as a alternate to going around the 101. Gaviota way. This definitely should be designated as a scenic highway. My only rant about this highway is that it can get congested and dangerous at times since many drivers drive too fast on it being that it also serves as a commuter route between Santa Barbara and the Northern cities of the county
Thanks for the feedback, RG! I took my wife to SLO for our anniversary this year, and we jumped to the 154 just to enjoy the views of the valley on the other side. It's pretty there any time of year. Travel safe, my friend!

Great video and thanks for taking us through this. I am planning a trip in June to do the PCH and would you suggest some scenic drives we could take to capture some of the drives with rolling hills etc. If we need to take some detour we can on our way from SFO to LA. Thanks
