This is the first air fryer I have ever owned. It works well czcams.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB and, if you use the proper supplied silicone tray, keeps the food separate from the oil\grease of cooking. I cooked pizza, hamburger, lasagna, etc all with good results. (I also purchased some paper inserts to cover the silicone trays, just not to have to clean the trays.) Recommended. Just make sure to REMOVE the PAPER INSERT below the air fryer tray before using the air fryer! And yes, I have experienced a bit of an "electrical"-type smell after cooking items. It seems to have gotten less with time and did surprise my nose the first time I smelled it.
I have the Cosori air fryer for a year and love it. Not sure if mentioned, but one of the few with a square basket. I’m a home bread baker and used this in the summer to bake rolls, with great results. Cosori for me.
I agree that the square shape is much more functional. With a round shape, you are losing the capacity of the corners, so you will never be able to cook as much in it without getting something that is bigger. Cosori seems like a no-brainer for the price compared with the much smaller and more expensive Phillips.
Cosori is half the price of the Philips and does a great job. Clean the Cosori is also very easy, just let it soak in warm water with some Dawn detergent. Cosori is the way to go!!
I just paid 2.5x less for the Cosori, and it has almost twice the capacity. I think if you just use some Dawn or Palmolive with a brush for cleaning the vents, it should not be so difficult.
Anyone who is looking for air fryer needs to go with Cosori, the cleaning by far easier than the Phillips. If cleaning a small kitchen appliance becomes a hassle than you won’t end up using it as much which will be wasted money. The CZcamsr is saying Phillips is better but he probably hasn’t cleaned this over time…used both and go with Cosori.
Wow! Excellent review! I clicked this video on a whim and I’m so glad I did. Lots of things other people have only skimmed over and you were very detailed about them. Love that! Thanks for taking the time to do this!
I've had the cosori 3.5l air fryer for a couple of years and love it, I just recently purchased the axcact same fryer (cosori wifi) so I can cook for more and love that too,I have never had any problem with cleaning either of the baskets, always wash after easch use. I had to go through you video a couple of times (just to check) and you DIDN'T have to apply any pressure @ 3.03...also using other functions eg: @ 3.23 you actually did light touches, which is how mine is.
Thank you for this review. I am a blind cook and I love wifi connected divises. I own a wifi Smart Instant Pot and use the app. Yelling at the Echo Dot doesn't work for me but the app does just fine. I'm a Voiceover user. I've used several air fryers, the cheaper models so they die quickly. Hopefuly I will have this one for some time before needing to replace it. I bought one with the accessory kit and parchment paper. A tool like this in my kitchen will be used and used to make good food. Happy cooking. Tiffany
Too bad so many of the reviews of air fryers always seem to say - larger basket - but never give you the actual measurement. I understand the Cosori has a 9x9 inch basket.
thank you for your video... I got the Cosori 9 months ago and use it 3 times a day so... over 800 uses now and I never used any of those preset buttons... absolutely useless... I cook everything on the steak button and just adjust the time, but I usually cook steak, burger patties, chops, or chicken wings... that's it. I find it so strange that they even bother to make all those preset buttons. I don't like the teflon finish inside as it is wearing off already and I am a very meticulous careful person so I wash it with only a sponge and no harsh abrasives... Maybe next time I will get a different brand... I did not find the buttons hard to push at all, but then I don't use any touch screens of any kind so I don't know how it is for other people. I never had any grease coming out of mine. Actually mine never got as dirty as yours in now... I wash it each time I use it and I put both baskets into the sink and fill it with water... it is very easy to clean as good as the day I got it every time I use it... How did yours get so dirty?
😒.... great.... now that I watched this video I regret buying the Cosori 2 days ago.... haven't been delivered yet but how come I didn't think about the cleaning issues 🤦♀️😬
It’s great. I wish the basket was stainless steel bc the coating does breakdown which concerns me bc health. I also had the handle melt off the basket which was scary…. But consort customer service sent me a new one right away.
We have had the Cosori 5.8for less than one year, the handle has deteriorated and has broken now where the three little screws are. Amazon sells replacement basket for $28.00, the whole unit cost $100.00.
@@MrJoeyelias you are correct that is an option now. The trick is that you have to register your product within 30 days of getting it (last I checked) to receive the extra year.
Anyone else have a hard time opening and closing the tray drawer? Makes a lot of noise opening and closing. And seems to need an excessive amount of force to insert and pull out the tray.
@@NawabSDigitalBusiness I cook lots of different food in it. I like that it cooks the food evenly. It has a preheat on it. It beeps half way through to remind you to shake. The main reason though is it cooks your food evenly. I've seen some where food seems to overcook in parts.
I 100% agree that this is so hard to clean. I have tried just about everything to clean this air fryer but there is always grease left over that doesn’t come off. Does have any one have tips on how to clean this air fryer. I have tried dish detergent, vinegar and also tried soaking it.
After cleaning try placing foil sheet underneath the basket and place a perforated parchament paper over the basket ( under the food ) cleaning will be very very easy afterwards .
I bought a Blaupunkr air fryer and while I like it I wish I had got an air fryer with a wider basket. I was desperate to cook some fries one day, I didn't want to use the oven, and that was the best I could find if I wanted to take home the same day. Oh well.
@@TheAirFryerGeek It's sold without vents on the sides. The question is, are they better or not. I don't have a problem with cleaning. But EXTRA cleaning... I DO. Foods come out quick, than take the longest to clean?... NOPE THANKS FOR ANSWERING. HAVE A GREAT 2022 🎉😊

Hi! Cosori Basket Dimension: 9*9*3.75 inches
A bit misleading. The air fryer in your still shot is the Cosori 358. The one in your video is Cosori 158. Different touch panel and settings.
Didn’t even realized, nice observation
I don't have to press on the screen of my Cosori at all it's actually responsive like my phone, also mine had been very easy to clean.

Clean with HOT/warm Water with Dawn soap, works well with any grease

I just ordered one from Amazon for Cyber Monday. Mine is coming with a dial. But I think the flat lcd screen would be easier to clean.

Yes you can do it
How do you get the inside basket out?

Would it clean better in the dishwasher?
You can but I usually avoid it because dishwasher tends to ruin the non-stick coating faster.
Is this still a decent air fryer in 2021?
One of the best!
I've had mine for a couple of weeks and LOVE it so far.
Hi, there is a smaller phillips that costs around the same price, so should i buy the small philips or the big casori ?
I dont like the vents on the sides 😖 IT will take more time to clean than to Cook. Just becuse of THAT, no way. It must have ALL that I need.
