    I purchased the Cosori Dual Blaze about 3 months ago and I love it. No shaking or flipping food half way through, super easy to use and clean and has a 6.8 qt basket. It has technology that allows the two burners to work together for best results without burning your food. It even has Bluetooth capability so you can monitor and make changes from your phone if you are interested in that.

    Thank you for your honest opinion on the air fryers. I received a Vortex Instant 6lt for a gift at Christmas. I am still getting used to the feel and use of it as I am new to air frying but I am enjoying it apart from a few mistakes like over cooking chicken and under cooking potatoe chips. It's a pity some manufacturers fail to include a cheat sheet in the box indicating product, temperature and cooking time. Having said that I am excited about my new toy and I am sure we are going to get along just fine together once we get to know each other.

      I would recommend always go for the larger capacity you can afford and have space for, I have the Ninja Speedi, since April last year , and last month, also purchased a small Corsori, on top of the Speedi I did think I would use the steam option and the speedi meal option, more than I do, in fact I use the airfryer side more than the steam or speedi meal options. I think if I was buying again I might have bought the Ninja where you can divide the draw into 2 but still have the option to take out the divider, but I do love my Cosori, it’s only 3.4 litres I think, but I use that more that the Ninja. Like today I’m making bacon cabbage, with fish. So that means cooking the bacon first in the speedi, then in the bacon fat start by stir frying the cabbage, then switch to steam the cabbage, for about 5 mins, then combine the 2 together after chopping the bacon. Meanwhile I pre heat the Corsori and cook the fish for about 6 minutes, and everything is ready.

    Impressively thorough, seemingly unbiased review. Much appreciated.
    For the price and number of uses, perhaps I shouldn’t complain. But our Ninja failed around the 1.5 year mark. Not because of build quality, instead because Ninja uses a 10cent “made to fail” internal fuse which requires a complete(and I mean complete) disassembly to replace.
    While we got our money out of the Ninja XL, I refuse to support companies which resort to “planned obsolescence” for repeat business.

    I have followed several reviews regarding Air fryers and yours is one of the really good ones. Having said that, I lack knowledge about how many kilowatts the various units use during various cooking processes, such as a whole chicken, French fries, etc.
    I am of course aware that a fryer must be cheaper to use compared to a stove, but I would really like to know how much (to have an argument for the purchase with my husband).😊😊

    • @sandrawestley4193
      @sandrawestley4193 Před 3 měsíci

      I would just buy it, he will love all the food that comes out of it, he doesn’t ask you when he needs a drill or some garden equipment, and your kitchen is far more important than that 😅 I wasted time thinking should I, shouldn’t I, I even have ordered 2 air fryers at different times and thought they look so big I sent them back 😅 now I’m a boring totally converted person, that never used her oven since last April, and also I’ve purchased another air fryer, I started with a Nijna Speedi, last April and have since purchased in January a small Corsori, if in doubt always choose a larger capacity one. I always need more space 😅

      Totally get where you're coming from about the new electronics smell. In my experience, yes, there's often a slight odor at first. But it clears up pretty fast, especially after the initial use or two. Just make sure to heat it up with no food before you start cooking, and you'll likely find that any smell doesn't transfer to the food. In my case, it was a non-issue after the first couple of uses.

    The smell. I bought one of these gadgets and am very concerned. The toxic burning plastic smell discouraged me from ever putting my food in this thing.

      You've seen those scary cancer warnings on a bunch of products, right? Those are all about California's Prop 65 list. It's like a heads-up that there's stuff in there that could be sketchy over a really long time or in big amounts. But here's the deal with air fryers: they're not really out there cooking up cancer.
      Air fryers work by blasting hot air around your food, getting it crispy without dunking it in a vat of oil. So, about the whole cancer thing - it's more about the parts the fryer's made with than the actual cooking it's doing. As long as you're not, like, eating the air fryer itself, and you're using it as directed, you're not signing up for a side of cancer with your fries.
      Just make sure you're using your air fryer the right way. Don't overheat it, clean it regularly without harsh chemicals, and you should be good. And if you're looking to buy one, peek at the specs and pick one that's made with safer materials. There are options out there without the Prop 65 warnings, and those might make you feel more at ease.

      “As long as you’re not, like, eating the air fryer itself….”
      Haha. Humerus dialog. And yes, CA regulations are batshit lunacy nine times out of ten.

      😂 I don't think you should do that. It doesn't sound healthy
