What these bikes can do is all about the rider. Hearing and seeing comments on the zx 14 and Concours 14....I have owned both, currently a Concours owner I have never been disappointed in the twisties. These bikes are incredibly nimble and capable. There is far more to them than the 1/4 mile drag strip. Beautiful ride sir, enjoy.

I have a 2013 ZX 14 R it seem 98% engine but that's good, it's got way more power than it needs without a supercharger or turbo. That stuff is only going to make it suck more gas. They handle beautifully. I can't think of how you could improve on it. I love mine

they corner way better than people are lead to belive. and they are so well balanced and the weight is nice and low so that 260kgs feels less. have had mine just over 3 years too. absolutely love it.
also have over 125,000kms on it and havnt touched a thing. original engine, runs flawlessly. just keep on top of the services and basic maintanance and these will just keep going.

So I just picked up a 2015 model about three weeks ago, the handling is almost like my older 2006 CBR 1000RR, the wheelbase is obviously longer but I cannot feel the weight when I move, at all and I've been riding for a bit as well. Many happy years are going to be had on this bike, hopefully.

I bought the 06 zx14 when it first came out. I absolutely loved that bike. I recently traded in my 06 zx14 for the 2021 zx14r with the rumor that they were going to be discontinued. I loved my 06 and miss it quite a lot. The 2021 has a much different feel than my 06 but I’m happy with my upgrade. You have a solid bike that’ll last forever.
