Awesome hunt...IHP was clean, loved the barbie too...But, I gotta say say The tootsie was very cool I have never dug that one or even seen that model. And yes, dont retire the AT because we all need to have a good backup machine. I subbed your channel and will watch more of your content. Continued success, JayDee aka Metal AF Washington state. I'll do a shout out to your channel possibly next video being I like your clean simple style of good editing. You deserve more Subs
Thank very much for subscribing and the support. I’m new filming my hunts. I’m working on trying to get good shots with the GoPro and talking, explaining, making content, etc. I will try to get more content up soon.
I’ve been swinging my Max (Maxine) for four years and have done pretty well with her. I’m just ready for something more advanced. Thanks for watching and happy hunting!
Stock coil and NEL Superfly are all I use at the moment. I’ve definitely considered a smaller coil. There was a lot of iron and modern trash in the front yard so a smaller coil would of helped. I know I need to tighten my plugs up, but I have shovel kissed a few targets in the past. I’m a little gun shy of putting my own mint mark on a special find. The soil there was not compact at all, but my holes looked pretty clean when I left. Thanks for watching and the information!
Was wondering about you switching from the Garret AT Max to the Manticore. Currently I have the Apex. I used to have a GTI2500 that I loved. I had back surgery and things came to a halt. Last year I started MDing again with an Apex. I know the Max is a good machine, but just curious about why your going to the Manticore. I’ve been looking at it also.
Welcome to the channel and I’m happy to hear you’re able to get back to detecting. I’ve been relatively successful with the Max, but I’m just ready for an upgrade. The only real complaints I have about the Max is it’s susceptible to EMI and it can get a bit “chirpy” at times. It can be frustrating when you’re trying to hunt and you are battling constant chatter. It was a toss up between the 900, XP2 and the MCore. The Manticore’s screen, 2D graph, EMI stability, separation and depth sold me. I think with an upgrade from ML, the Manti will be worth the wait. We will see…
I’ve been swinging the Garrett AT Max for the last four years. I ordered a Minelab Manticore about two months ago and I am still waiting for it to arrive. Apparently dealers are having a hard time getting them from Minelab.
I like silver 🥈. Especially when I find it. Congratulations 🎊.
Nice permission, never saw that tootsie car before. Congrats on the silvers, wheats and the Indian. Take care and Happy Hunting 👍
Thank you for watching and your support! I’ve never seen that particular Tootsie either. I’m going back to that permission soon.

Thanks for watching and the support! I went back and found more yesterday. That video is posted too.
First time to watch.
Thanks for watching!
Root slayer with the short one has a round handle better for older person t handles don’t have that kind of leverage you are looking for
nice finds , that barber sure looks like it had an o mintmark
You’re right, it did. I didn’t see that at first. Thanks for catching that.
New subscriber. Great finds. Love the Barber coins. Do you every use a smaller coil for yards? I use the 5x 8 so my plug are not big. Just curious

What kind of metal detector do you use?

Is that a lesche digger ?
Yes, it is a Lesche hand digger. My shovel in this video is a Nomad Root Slayer.
