S1 - Ep 92 - Travelling through the Great Karoo to Williston!

- We spent a wonderful evening on the farm at Sonnevleg Self-catering, but the time came to hit the road through the Great Karoo to Williston. It was really awesome to see how much rain they've had recently in the district. The farm owner was understandably very happy and relieved. Not to mention all the little lambs we saw as we were leaving, really cute. Crossing the Sak River as we entered Williston, previously known as Amandelboom, was amazing, especially seeing how much water was flowing. We filled the car up with fuel and then realised we also needed fuel and had a wonderful meal at Manna Restaurant. #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #williston #sonnevleg #sakriver #mannarestaurant #southafricavlog #amandelboom

Wow, what an incredible restaurant in Williston and seeing all the water in the Karoo. That little Kwid is really a capable vehicle...I and Im sure many others are seeing that vehicle in a whole new light, And that is powerful for the Renault brand and the Kwid in particular, you're a real brand influencer - especially as my perception of the Kwid was minus, even die hard Renault fans exhibit anxiety and fear when referring to the Kwid. Some use the first letter, ie the K and the first letter of the alphabet and then the first letter of Kwid to describe it and this from "die-hard" Renault fans 😀 and here you are changing all of that. Great videos, just too short.
🤣🤣 Your elaborate explanation of the three-letter k-word made me laugh out loud! I can not say enough how impressed we are with the Kwid, time after time. Other than one flat tyre on our first trip, we've had zero issues and it loves gravel on top of it all, which suits us perfectly. Those lambs were so lovely and you got lucky the Karoo had such a lot of rain not often that happens that water was sure welkom. The almond tree changed to Wiliston interesting. Enjoy further.

We went from Calvinia to Brandvlei and on to Verneukpan. What an experience that was! Did you guys go to Verneukpan?
Nope, we haven't (yet) made it to Brandvlei and Verneukpan, but then again we haven't explored all of the Northern Cape yet. More to look forward to for us! 😝🚗
