- Today I have a look at my dad's original 45rpm single collection that he amassed in the late 70s to early 80s. There is a huge mix of all sorts in this collection but some of the punk in here is awesome, my dad has great taste in music!

The Epileptics were brilliant they changed their to Flux of Pink Indians you had a single by them there aswell & Zounds were brilliant
Those Discharge records are on the original label and part of punk history. Hang on to them mate.
Not worth much but good to have if your going to play them
Nice collection... keep the discharge mate absolute classic 45. The crass ones too look mint.
lad from an old punk rocker like me self i say hold on to these records and put them in sleeves and keep them in cool good condition, because all these records are now collectors items, don't sell them or damage them and make sure you get some record cleaners to clean the discs,.....me i can't get any of these, i'm too poor to own suck a cool collection,.....i'm almost 60 yrs old, and yes i still dress punk like i did in my youth i started out back in 79 late 79 and i never looked back.....marius(punk rules)
Your dad 's got a quality 70's/80s collection you could DJ with.
Hello from New Zealand. Some cool 45 singles there. I'm in my sixties and have a large music collection. I was into Punk in the late 1970s early 80s. I like the Dead Kennedys and that song Too drunk to Fuck. I saw the Fall in concert here in 1982/ 83 thereabouts. Good group. I have seen Billy Idol as well in the eighties. I own a copy of the book British Hit Singles, and I looked up that song Telephone Man by Meri Wilson . It came out in 1977 and charted at number 6 in Britain. It got good radio airplay here , and I liked it. Boney M were very successful here as in the UK. That Rivers of Babylon song from 1978 sat at number one here for weeks as it did there in the UK. Charted well in the USA too. The Damned are my favorite Punk band. Interesting video thanks. From Carl.
Jealousy prevents me from watching the whole video!
Early 80's punk records are a lot more valuable than the 76-79 punk singles. Especially the less comercial bands such as The Parisans, Chaos UK, Discharge, Disorder, FOPI, Crass etc...
Nonsense 🤣🤣🤣🤣
