- Israel has shifted the so-called “safe zone” again. First Khan Younis was supposedly safe, but after continuous bombing, Palestinians are now being forced into the barren sands of al-Mawasi.
The narrow strip of land, about the size of the airport, is where Israel wants Gaza’s 2.3 million civilians to relocate to. But the small, undeveloped zone has no infrastructure for safety or survival.
As Bisan Owda shows us, there is no clean water to drink and not enough fuel to keep people warm.

Thank you for this glimpse…this is an insane reality that many people (like in the U.S.) could never imagine so we choose to ignore or justify with politics but this is undeniable… I hope this helps people connect with and consider our common humanity and the reality of these complex and beautiful human beings who are actively suffering unimaginable pain and trauma. Ceasefire and aid is paramount…the whole world is watching now. 🇵🇸🕯️✊

I can’t even comprehend the conditions and the suffering. Can these people team up and unite together and gather a plan for that small community? Map out a game plan that can benefit the people involved there? Without outside help that clearly is not coming.. can they do anything with the ocean water? Is there any materials they can gather from nearby ruins or fields? How can they be supported to be self sufficient to survive this suffering. These conditions are awful and waiting for assistance from the west is not happening. Feels like it’s each to their own 😵💫
