    I forgot to mention in the video that you don't have to play the new TCG exclusive trap Kuebiko and Silhouette Rabbit if you don't want to and you'll still be able to summon Arc Light:
    When you use Diabell to summon Zapper Shrimp, you will send one of the Toy Cards as cost, which will trigger Astellar's effect to Special Summon because a Spell/Trap is sent to your GY to activate a monster's effect. Then you can use Zapper Shrimp to synchro into Arc Light using himself and Astellar.😁

      @DerSchmidtLP Před měsícem

      I am not 100% sure but i think Astellar wont trigger off sending the Toy cards because they are no Spells or traps at that moment. But i could be wrong.

    Your Genex into fiendsmith combo is not bystial protected like you say, because you banish the only dark in your grave to summon wyverburster. When you go for lacrimosa targeting your last fiendsmith in grave you are vulnerable to bystial interruption which is what everyone with bystials is targeting 100% of the time. You would need to get that collapserpent in grave somehow.

    • @HyroDeFlure
      @HyroDeFlure  Před měsícem

      Thanks for pointing that out! You're right that banishing the only Dark in the grave to summon Wyverburster does leave the combo vulnerable to Bystial interruption when targeting Lacrimosa to revive Fiendsmith. My intention was to highlight that there's an option to stop a Bystial early, especially if the opponent targets Astria in the graveyard. This early interruption can drastically change the end board and might give you a chance to adapt your strategy🤔

    To play around Nibiru, maybe it can be useful also (following the same line)
    Synchro 6 into Muddy Mudragon
    Mudragon + Toy Soldier = Albion
    Albion + Mudragon = Dark Dragoon
    Since Fiendsmith cards will be very, very expensive, what do you think this build can take advantage of instead?
    Maybe some synchro 10, rank4, Selene+Accesscode, etc...?

    • @HyroDeFlure
      @HyroDeFlure  Před měsícem +1

      Thanks for your suggestion! I appreciate your creativity with the Nibiru play. The Arm of Genex offers a simpler solution, as it doesn’t demand much extra deck space and provides negation by banishing monster cards, which is essentially cost-free.
      I prefer not to discard cards and aim to keep as many hand traps in hand as possible to counteract board breakers effectively. It's crucial to maintain the ability to respond to your opponent's plays with hand traps.
      I’ve experimented with a minimal Fiendsmith package, and the only expensive card is Fiendsmith Engraver, which I use as a one-off. While the Fiendsmith package isn’t necessary and can be substituted with various options, it does provide resilience against hand traps, allowing continued play.
      For more on alternative combos without the Fiendsmith cards, you might find my latest videos on White Woods interesting. It showcases equally impressive combos without using Fiendsmith cards. Thanks again for your input, and I hope you find my feedback helpful!☺

      @HyroDeFlure I found your feedback very helpful, and I'll definitely check your other videos. Also I'll surely give a try to those carda tou presented here like Shrimp.
      I usually play the Dragoon Line because it can negate everything, and main boardbraking threats are usually played after the side (beside Droplet) when I put Mannadium Raframing in.
      I'm on the boardbreakers' build since they're s/t, and i felt a lack of them playing too many handtraps. And so I am not in a big need of hand advantage.
      I do agree that playing many hts is the optimal way to play, especially this format. But opening W.F. monsters and 2/3 hts, or toy cards+hts, don't accomplish anything (if there's no Silvy) beside passing and hoping they'll be enough.
      These are just first impressions since I'm new to the deck, and I'll have the chance to test it further way later this month.
      I also wanted to ask you, what would be your side deck plan for this build since you play so much non eninge. Maybe stuff Dark Ruler, Evenly, Lightning Storm, Bystials, D.D. Crow, Bagooska plan B...

    • @HyroDeFlure
      @HyroDeFlure  Před měsícem +2

      @@fracampa903 The White Woods cards send for cost even if they get negated. For example, if you start with Astellar and either Toy Box or Toy Soldier, you first set up the Toy cards. Then, summon Astellar and use its effect, sending Toy Soldier for cost. If Astellar's effect gets negated by any hand trap, Toy Soldier will still activate to special summon, then search your White Woods special summon tuner. From there, you can go into a Synchro 6, search Legend, and continue your plays.
      Definitely play Skill Drain in the side. You can send as cost on your turn to turn it off.😉

    • @fracampa903
      @fracampa903 Před měsícem

      @HyroDeFlure ye the cost for activation is really nice to have, or the deck would be worse than a swordsoul after imperm on Mo Ye 😅
      What I was referring to is if the hand lacks spells or traps, or other scenarios where you do have toys, but other cards are non engine
      In both cases, and I believe this is mainly related to the way each duelist approaches the game, I think (still testing), I prefer having cards like droplets rather than an effect veiler.
      Skill Drain Interaction is nasty 😈

  • @NaoiMikami
    @NaoiMikami Před měsícem

    I like the approach, but I have some concerns.
    1 - The dragon cards can be useful, but most of the time they will not if you get interrupted. It's an interesting tech overall
    2 - Most of those combos in the video requires specifically asteria + toy box. Risette + toy box can't do those lines. You can still end on a powerful board, but you can't search the dragons.
    Overall it's a cool idea to just use the fiendsmith cards to go for dies irae instead of losing so much extra space, but you need a plan B if you get interrupted (which is gonna happen A LOT in this format).

    • @HyroDeFlure
      @HyroDeFlure  Před měsícem

      Thanks for your feedback! You bring up some valid points.
      The dragon cards are definitely situational, but they are too free not to play. They drastically increase the deck's ceiling, giving you more powerful plays when they do go off.
      While it's true that the combos in the video specifically require Asteria + Toy Box, Risette + Toy Box can also end on a similar board. The key difference is that starting with the extender first makes it more vulnerable to Nibiru.
      Regarding interruptions, the Fiendsmith engine and the Rabbit Link backed up by a high hand trap count serve as the deck's Plan B. This gives you a solid fallback strategy to maintain board presence and resilience.
      Overall, the deck's versatility and potential for powerful plays make it a compelling choice despite the potential interruptions.😊

    How did your testing against top meta with the list go? Yes the combos are strong but do they stand against interuptions besides hard drawing crossout? I feel like you need more direct extention in your starting hand this format. Looking forward to hear your experiences!

    • @fracampa903
      @fracampa903 Před měsícem

      @LacaYGO Ye, this is why many choose the Centurion build, or even a runick one if they prefer.
      Playing Toy-W.F. against Droll is really hard if you don't open specific hands. Since this impactful ht is so effective I prefer playing less and more impactful non engine myself (droplet, droll, talent, eclipse + side) [just now added 2 Imperms dince drawing multiple of talents is not optimal]
      I'm also testing 2 magician's souls + 2 illusion of chaos since they synergies a lot with toys, s/t in main and herlad of the arc light
      I frankly don't mind the weakness against droll, also because it is compensated by the ability to play through and around anything else.

    • @HyroDeFlure
      @HyroDeFlure  Před měsícem +3

      Of course, if you draw the one and only starter and it gets negated, you won't stand a chance. No deck does. However, if drawn with other cards, such as the Toy Box engine, you can extend your plays significantly. The White Woods cards send for cost even if they get negated.
      This is a two-card combo deck that can get very explosive out of nowhere and shouldn't be underestimated.😊

      @@HyroDeFlure that's exactly my question. How did it work out in this variant? I'm testing the Centurion build with a minimum amount of Centurion monsters and maximum amount of Oath/Stand Up because these are strong extenders/starters by themselves. I feel like without these extenders you don't stand a chance against Snake-Eyes/Yubel. Maybe a video with your list used in meta matches would be cool to check if your leaner version with the higher non engine count and small Fiendsmith package is the better version

      Hey, thanks for the concern! I didn't cut Plaguespreader Zombie because it was bad; it's actually a great card. This build focuses on a Fiendsmith package, which takes up 4 extra deck spots. Plaguespreader Zombie is still an awesome extender and can make Arc Light plays even easier.😊
