aw shucks, that's really kind of you
Fantastic rendition Dan, I find this song very moving... Probably the last we get to hear from these four lads 😢
Thanks Rabendranath! yes, I don't think there are anymore like this one
Beautiful rendition as always!
It's sad to see the last one as a group, but it's touching to be honoured to have been blessed to have lived alongside one of the most influential music groups, even if for a little while. I hope their music still gets listened to and discussed for generations to come❤🇬🇧🎸
Well said! I think we're fortunate to get as much as we did. They had an incredible output.
It had to be on your repertoire, Mr. Estrem. Beautiful!
well, when I first heard the cassette I didn't think I could make anything of it. But a week ago after hearing the new version I thought I should try making a solo rendition which sounded rather thin, so I started adding the other instruments and I believe it helped
cassette! all my tapes are moldering untouched and probably ruined by humidity and time @@danbluedeer

beautiful, as always
Thank you! Cheers!
What a wonderful rendition of this beautiful song! It’s awesome to listen to a such well done reinterpretation of their last song. Cheers!
thanks for your comment!
WHAT a fantastic interpretation this guitar cover is of "Now and Then" ! As well as the Beatles I'm sure (fellow Kiwi) Peter Jackson would agree. The glance made to key the off camera "sitar " helps add to the magic!
Thanks for your interesting comment!
Great rendition and playing, Dan. So soothing.....
Thanks Ed! much appreciated
I heard/read the news while in Perú. Just back, I am pleased to hear your arrangement first.
Appropriately - melancholic.
Thanks, Dan.
Hi Michael! welcome back- hope you had a good time in Peru.
That was so very lovely. 🥹Thank you x
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice playing Dan!
thank you Bill!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
thanks Graciela!
Good Evening Daniel,
Bang on the money with this cover, well done. Totally up to date too, could this be the most recent piece of music that you have covered? I know that you have done some newer pieces but this was only released a few weeks ago.
Is that slide guitar in the mix as well? I would have liked to have seen the other Dans in a multiscreen version of this as it would have made very interesting viewing.
The mild weather here has finally departed and we are now heading into a colder spell. It is all very relevant though as I just checked out the twin cities forecast and Monday looks pretty chilly for you guys. We seem almost tropical by comparison! I hope the snows are not too bad yet and your woodpile is fully stocked.
Meanwhile stay snug and warm and keep these tunes coming.
Keep Safe and Keep playing
Clive
Thanks Clive!
Yes, I started this one about a week ago thinking I would try to condense things into a solo guitar version. The more I played it, the more I felt it needed some accompaniment. I tried several different things on the slide part and settled on using an E-bow (that has not seen much use) with a glass slide on an archtop guitar. The Ebow gives a long sustain almost like a singer not needing to breathe.
The weather has gotten colder and I'm glad the snowstorm missed us yesterday. Your "tropical weather" must have been savored.
I like the bass parts.
That's good....McCartney is a wizard on the bass
beautiful stuff
do you do bach?
thanks! look under playlists - there are about 120 videos of Bach
