- In Indian subcontinent post operative care is done majorly by family members. But unfortunately the surgical team trains the hospital staff not the family. This lack of training and the fear of doing something wrong leads to sub optimal post operative care of the Hip Replacement patients.

I am from Pakistan, recently one month ago on 17th December 2021 have conducted bilateral hip replacement. I wished to have treatment from you but it was not possible for me due to limited resources. Thanks as i am following your informative videos from month long as it helped us & my father has undergone "Uncemented THR - Left" recently 10 days back in Visakhapatnam and suggested 6 weeks bed rest. Please clarify me that from day 1 after surgery my dad is turning on non operated leg to sit on bed i.e., right side instead of turning and sitting up on left as u suggested in video. Any problem in doing as such? thanks in advance!

@@DrAshwaniMaichand Sir, staples have been removed exactly week back - told no dressing required & just apply T-Bact ointment 2-3 times a day. Surrounding the incision wound line, my father feels mild swelling like hardness. Inside muscle pain is not there, but if slight press at some places on incision, he feels moderate pain. Is it any sign of complication or infection, kindly advice! Thank you.

Sir really liked your work. I was diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis last year. As of now I am able to sit crossed leg, squat, run and play with certain pain. So sir is there any precaution to avoid further degradation of hip? And when should i think of surgery? Wait for the pain to get at peak or as soon as possible for better rehabilitation?

When you're not able to do daily activities without pain killer OR when you start limping, get operated. Don't waste the best years of your life limping.

Computer navigation aur MIS Technique me kya farq hai please define karein hame decision lene me
MIS technique is skill of surgeon. Computer navigation in joint replacement is not useful. It's waste of money
